Important notes:
Use this catalog to select classes, then register online (URL at top of page).
Classes for your child will appear on signup form once you enter their grade for Autumn
2021.
Some classes require students to bring materials – please read class descriptions carefully.
Refunds: If The Barn cancels Summer Camp, you will be FULLY REFUNDED. Since these camps
are popular and often sell out, if you register for a class and then cancel, a refund will be
given only if the slot can be filled from our wait list. Thanks for your understanding!
Classes that require you to bring supplies will email the materials list a few weeks in advance
of the camp.
We reserve the right to cancel classes that do not meet minimum enrollment, and issue
refunds in that case only.
Materials: All materials included unless otherwise indicated.
Coronavirus Update: We are offering our traditional, in-person, hands-on summer camp classes in July. However, if the
Barn must cancel classes due to the coronavirus, your summer camp fees will be fully refunded. We will operate
according to any Ohio Health Orders that are in force in July, including the wearing of masks. We are limiting classes to a
maximum of 12 students to allow social distancing. In addition, we will follow good ventilation practices, and have
placed air sanitizers in every teaching space.

5-9 Mosaic Students will learn ceramic cutting $60
Madness! techniques with nippers, as well as
techniques for gluing and

from, including found
objects. Students can expect messy
fun creating their mosaic frame! This
is a class where it's ok to break stuff!
7 – 12 Fundamentals Learn how to see the world as an $40 plus
of Drawing & artist sees it. We will start with line you will
painting drawing techniques, learn basic need to
eye/hand coordination, learn how to buy a

1&2 Great Books, Explore art through great children's $50
Great Art books! In this class, we will create
beautiful pieces using the techniques
taught by Missy of great children's book
Fields illustrators: Keats, Willems, Lionni,
Carle, Elhert and more.
3-5 A Home for a Explore the world of Gnomes as you $55
Gnome design a home for a gnome and all of
its miniature necessities. In addition
taught by Maria you will be creating a Gnome to dwell
Bailey in his or her home. A more advanced
class in making miniatures that is
detail oriented.
3-6 Watercoloring The students will each get a field box $75
Your World used by artists to do plein air
(outside) or indoor still life (indoor

4-8 Gelli Printing Come and learn about Gelli printing on $45
fabric and paper. We will be making
taught by our own stamps and using various
Susan Austin household items to stamp and
embellish paper and fabric. A collage
piece or pack of cards will be the focus
of the Gelli printing. Students will take
home all of the prints they make in this
class! This class can be very messy, so
please wear old clothes to class.

Critters Critter of your own design! In this class
you will learn to make a pattern, pin,

5-8 Manga Come learn Anime history, $40
