The Miracle of Christmas
Are you praying for a miracle? Don't give up hope. The God who did miracles in the past may yet supply
one for you. The miracle of Christmas proves his power to do so. More than that, and however he
answers your prayers, the miracle of Christmas proves his love for you.

Band on Wednesday
Children in the band program will play during Chapel this Wednesday. Chapel takes place at 8:15 AM
and, as always, parents are invited to attend. Band students should plan to arrive at 7:45 AM to warm
up before the service begins.
The band students should wear their Westside polo (or a navy colored shirt) and khaki pants to school
in the morning and bring their instrument and music. They may change into casual clothes after
Chapel.
Children's Christmas Program | Coming December 23
A big event like the Children's Christmas Program requires decisions to be made quite early. Back in
early fall it was decided that an in-person children's program in 2021 was not going to be possible.
However, the children of St. Andrew and Westside Christian have been hard at work preparing a
program via video in order to still share the Christmas story with family and friends. On December 23,
"The Miracle of Christmas" will be released on our website and social media. Enjoy the video and share
with others as the children remind us of THE Miracle, Jesus, born to save us from our sin.
Lost and Found - Last chance to claim your items
The Lost and Found is full of items, some of which have been in there for months. The Lost and Found
is located on a table right outside the bathrooms in the elementary wing. All unclaimed items will be
donated on December 22.
Answers to your enrollment questions Many of you have questions about early enrollment at Westside. Below are the answers to common questions we've received. Please reach out to Principal Meredith Pucci with any specific questions. Q. When do I re-enroll my current Westside student? A. Early enrollment begins on January 4 and runs through January 16. At that time, all current Westside families re-enroll their students for the 2022-23 school year. Q. What if I have another child that I would like to enroll at Westside for next school year? A. Existing Westside families may submit applications for new students during the early enrollment period. St. Andrew families also submit applications for enrollment at this time. Q. When will I find out if my student has been accepted for the 2022-23 school year? A. All current students who are re-enrolled during the early enrollment period are guaranteed a spot for next school year. Priority for new applications is given to St. Andrew families and siblings of current Westside students. Q. What happens if I miss early enrollment? A. Don't miss early enrollment! Once open enrollment begins, all enrollment requests are reviewed in the order in which they are received. Q. I have a friend who is interested in applying. When does open enrollment begin? A. Open enrollment begins on Tuesday, January 18. Once an application is accepted, the family has two weeks to complete the enrollment process. If the family does not complete enrollment during that time, the application goes to the bottom of the queue. Q. Will there be waitlists? A. Yes. We anticipate that some classrooms may immediately reach capacity. Families who submit an application for a room that is at capacity are placed on the waitlist. These families will be contacted if/when a seat opens up. Once an application is accepted, the family has two weeks to complete the enrollment process. If the family does not complete enrollment during that time, the application goes to the bottom of the queue. Q. Is tuition increasing? A. Tuition increases every year. We will send the new tuition schedule before early enrollment begins. Q. What if my family cannot afford the full cost of tuition? A. There are several programs and credits for which your family may qualify. Please contact Meredith Pucci to discuss your specific situation. Q. What is my financial obligation if I complete the enrollment process? A. Westside is a non profit organization and operates on a fiscal year (July - June). By the end of January, we are already using our enrollment numbers to begin building a budget for the upcoming school year and making decisions that affect our classrooms and staffing levels. Therefore, for the sake of our students and the orderly running of the school, parents/guardians who take the final step in the enrollment process and sign the tuition Agreement are required to pay tuition for the entire school year, less any applicable voucher or credit(s). Westside may wave this policy under certain circumstances (e.g., qualifying life event). Refer to the Family Handbook for the complete policy.

Wednesday: Casual day; Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged
to wear an ugly Christmas sweater.
This Thursday through January 3: NO SCHOOL (Christmas break);
Students return on Tuesday, January 4.
