WINTER/SPRING 2019 CLASS BROCHURE - My Sewing Room
A Word From Anne
January 2019
Hello Dear Friends,
Now, THIS is OUR most wonderful time of the year. The weather may be a little frightful, snowing and blowing,
but we’re in our sewing rooms, doing what we love most... quilting, embroidering and sewing up a storm!
Join us as we warm up to winter with new classes, new machines and an big new selection of Arrow Cabinetry,
perfect for every sewing space!
How about getting a head start on Lori Holt’s Vintage Christmas quilt? Gwen is starting classes in March. There
will be no excuse for not having your sampler quilt ready for Christmas 2019! And Kerry is holding classes this
season for her exciting Paint-By-Number Quilts! Her original patterns were a huge hit at the Houston Quilt Show
this past November.
If a new sewing machine is in your future, don’t miss out on Brother’s new Luminaire XP1. It boasts a huge 13”
throat and a 16” embroidery hoop - the largest on the market. Plus the revolutionary StitchVision Technology -
project stitch patterns and designs directly onto your fabric before you even sew a stitch! It’s a gorgeous sewing
machine with incredible capabilities, and it can be yours - I bought one!
BERNINA’s Gold Anniversary Edition machines are also available! They are absolutely beautiful, come with lots of
bonuses and gifts with purchase, but won’t be around for long. Oops! I did it again - I’m also a Golden Girl! Great
value and incomparable quality - the perfect combination.
Whichever embroidery machine you choose to use, be sure to attend the OESD Events we are hosting in March.
They are the perfect opportunity for all embroidery aficionados to hone their craft.
If you happen to be looking for new quilting blocks or appliqué ideas to try, look no further than our AccuQuilt Go
Cutters. They make everything so much easier at a very reasonable cost.
Between our brand new fabrics, wide range of notions, classes galore, plus our enthusiasm for all things sewing,
it’s going to be a great winter at M Y SEWING ROOM. Thank-you so much for recommending us to your friends,
and be sure to check us out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
And remember; if you are happy, tell everyone! If you are not, please tell me!
See you in the shop!
Sincerely,

Anne Dale

Kit fees (when required) are in addition to the class fee and will be charged at the current market value at the time
of the class.
Classes marked with an * are not included in the Class Pass (when available).
Reservations: Classes are filled on a first-come basis with payment. You may ask to be placed on a waiting list, but
this does not guarantee you a spot, should the class sell out.
Cancellations: Class registration fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a course for which you are
registered, you may send someone in your place.
Do not purchase supplies until you are sure that the class will run. Absolutely no refunds will be given for supplies
purchased for cancelled classes.
If My Sewing Room cancels the class due to insufficient registration, you will receive a refund or store credit for
the class fee.
Supply Lists: Be sure to pick up your supply list when you register, or to check the online Class Infosheet for
requirements. It is important to bring all items listed, as the teacher does not supply these items.
Please purchase all fabric, notions and tools prior to your class (upon confirming that the class is running), so as not
to delay the start of the class or to miss any instruction.
If the class requires a pattern or book, each participant must have their own copy in accordance with copyright
laws. No photocopies are permitted in our classes.
Classroom Etiquette: All classes begin on time; please arrive a few minutes early to set up your work area and to
purchase any last-minute supplies.
Out of courtesy for the instructor and your fellow students, we ask that you turn off your cell phone and limit the
use of perfume, as we endeavor to be a scent-free facility.
Please, do not bring your pets or children with you unless they are a paid participant.
Full-day classes do not include lunch, unless otherwise specified. Remember to bring a reusable drinking mug -
