New in 2019!
For the past 34 years, the borough’s Art Contest has
offered visual artists from the Island of Montréal
the opportunity to promote their work and creative
universes.
This year, two new categories have been added to the
existing ones:
Digital art
Digital art covers everything that can be generated by
computer, be it moving images or stills. By extension,
it also includes printed-out images of digital creations,
digital photos—unedited or retouched—, as well as 3D
prints.

• Watercolour
• Gouache painting, drawing
• Pastel
• Mixed media
Recycled art
The practice brings unused goods back to life by turning
them into artwork.
