A very warm welcome to all our customers.
We are delighted to introduce our new 2020/21 Coach Holiday Brochure, once again packed full of
wonderful destinations, interesting visits and events, and the usual ‘Mystery’ locations. Although 2020
has been a difficult year for us to operate our holidays, we have been working hard to make sure we
have tours to offer you in the months ahead.
This year we have decided to issue one brochure, offering a limited number of November and December
tours, but include our Christmas and New Year breaks and then all holidays through to October 2021.
BOOKING PROCEDURE
Our booking procedure will be different this year as we will not be holding our usual
brochure launch day in November. We have designed and included a new booking form
(see pages 5&6), which we kindly ask you to complete in full including your email address
and return by post (or deliver by hand to our offices in Ingleton) as soon as you have made
your holiday choices. These will be processed in the order received, and we ask that any
customers with credit notes return these with their booking form, otherwise this will delay
your booking. Please be patient with us as we work our way through your requests. We
ask that you do not visit our offices unless necessary, for the time being. Telephone
bookings may be made from Monday, 2nd November. Our office opening hours will be
Monday – Friday: 9.00am – 5.00pm.
COACH CAPACITY
We are monitoring closely and following government guidelines on the maximum number
of passengers we carry on each touring vehicle, currently running at a reduced number to
aid in the one metre social distancing measures. Please be assured that your safety and
well-being is our number one priority. We will keep you up to date with any changes and
ask that you visit our website www.bibbys.co.uk where we will issue up to date guidance.
This does mean that single places are limited on each tour to begin with.
ITINERARIES
Over the last few months it has been noticeable that several visitor attractions are unable
to take group bookings. This is completely understandable as visits adjust to operating
under new guidelines. This does however have an impact on us, and we ask for your
understanding if a visit must be amended or changed. We will, of course, inform you of
any major changes to your itinerary. The same applies to hotels offering entertainment
and this may be amended or removed from their package at short notice.
CLEANING REGIMES
We have obtained the Visit England 'We’re Good To Go’ COVID-19 industry standard mark
and on top of our already robust cleaning regimes we have introduced some new measures,
including an anti-viral interior fogging machine, which assists in the killing of airborne
germs. We have also fitted new air purification systems to our touring coaches. These
devices filter the fresh air being brought into the vehicle through the air conditioning
system. Strong disinfectant is used on all grab handles, seat back tables and seat belts
prior to any departure and at regular intervals.
FEEDER SERVICE CHARGE
On all tours from the 2nd November 2020 an additional charge of £7 per person return will be implemented
for the areas where we currently offer our door to door feeder service (entirely within Bibby’s discretion and
excluding Ingleton village).
