4–6 Welcome to Glacier National Park, home to two different # of nights on the TRAIN

DAY SEATTLE
3 Welcome to Seattle! The “Emerald City” is full of gorgeous sights just waiting for you to
discover! Upon arrival, you will travel on your own to your hotel to drop off your luggage.
Then, the rest of the day is yours to explore all Seattle has to offer. Use your included
sightseeing tour to see some of Seattle’s most popular sights! Your tour will connect you to
downtown attractions such as Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden & Glass,

DAYS SAN FRANCISCO
5–6 Before arriving in San Francisco, you’ll get to experience the Pacific Ocean, mountains, forests

1 Begin your journey in Chicago. Head to the Amtrak station and board the Empire Builder
to Seattle. Sit back and relax as you head west to begin your around-the-country adventure.

DAYS SEATTLE
3–4 Today, you will arrive in Seattle. Check into your hotel and prepare for a fun couple of days
in the “Emerald City.” Stroll through Pike’s Place Market or enjoy the Seattle Waterfront.
On day 4, you will get to explore the city with your included sightseeing tour! Visit the
iconic Space Needle, the Chihuly Garden and Glass Exhibit and more. (Overnight in Seattle
at the Warwick Seattle)
DAYS LOS ANGELES
6–7 As the train makes its way south, enjoy the panoramic views of the Pacific Coast. The Coast
Starlight is one of Amtrak’s most popular routes as it allows you to see areas of the California
coastline not accessible any other way. Tonight, arrive in Los Angeles and check into your hotel.
On day 7, you will get to enjoy the best of what Los Angeles has to offer. Use your hop-on, hop-
off sightseeing tour to visit such iconic landmarks as the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Rodeo Drive,
Universal Studios and the Hollywood Sign. Tonight, travel on your own to Los Angeles’ Union
Station to board the Sunset Limited and head east to New Orleans. (Overnight in Los Angeles

DAYS NEW ORLEANS
9 – 10 After passing through Texas and Louisiana, the train will arrive in New Orleans. Check into
your hotel and head to sleep, tomorrow you will get to explore “the Big Easy.” On day 10, you
will get to experience New Orleans on a guided sightseeing tour. Your tour will take you all
around the “City that Care Forgot” to see the French Quarter, historic Jackson Square, past the
cemeteries known as the “Cities of the Dead,” and along the bayous that make New Orleans

DAY WASHINGTON, D.C.
12 Welcome to Washington, D.C.! Upon arrival, check into your hotel and begin exploring
Washington. Stroll through one or more of the many Smithsonian museums, visit the Capitol
Building and make sure to stop for picture-taking at the White House. Tonight, you will enjoy
the Monuments by Moonlight tour that will take you to see all of the major U.S. monuments
