SWSRA continues to follow Governor Pritzker, the CDC, and IDPH guidelines as to how and
when we can provide the safest programs. Should this information change, we will update
our website. SWSRA is providing month-by-month calendars and schedules for programming.

Meanwhile, we are offering a wide variety of virtual programming for our SWSRA participants,
limited in-person programs, virtual clubs, virtual dances, and much more! You can register
via our website and start enjoying these programs NOW!
SWSRA’s Annual Feed The Hungry dance has gone virtual and EVERYONE is invited! The
dance is on Friday, December 11th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm. The fee is $3 per participant. All
proceeds go towards purchasing canned food to be donated for those in need.

Join us Super Bowl weekend to participate in this one of a kind sledding event. Participants are encouraged
to wear their favorite NFL team jersey while enjoying 90 minutes of sledding, water & hot chocolate during
this event. A variety of games will be played for prizes. Judges will determine winners based on speed, turns,
distance and tandem events. NOTE: The sled hill will only be open to participants of this event. There will be
2 heaters available to warm up with. Snow must cover the hill or the event will be cancelled. All sleds must

Planning a birthday party? Let us do the work! Sit back and relax while our staff plans your child’s birthday party. All
birthday party packages are 2 hours long and available on Saturdays & Sundays. Call for available days and prices.
After you are done playing in the gym, you can go into the Activity room to eat pizza, open gifts, and sing. ALL PACKAGES
INCLUDE: Activity room set up of tables & chairs, refreshments, party decorations, pizza, sports activities, 2 hours of
fun, and a party assistant. There is an additional fee for parties that need additional time. The maximum amount of
participants is 50 per party. Temperature checks are required at the door and face masks are required at all times
during the party.
Tot Party - Ages: 1-4 years - This is perfect if you have a younger child that would love to play various games and activities
in the gym like relay races, have an obstacle course set-up, hula hoops, parachute, and scooters.
Fairy Tale Party - Ages: 1-10 years - All the children will make a piece of jewelry or a princess crown. Then after making
their project they can get their nails polished. We will put some sparkle glitter on them to make each child feel like a fairy
princess.
Foosball & Sports Party - Ages: 5-12 years - Included with the gym setup, participants will get to use our Foosball and
sports equipment during their birthday party for tournaments or just some fun play.
Sports Party - Ages: 5-12 years - There will be use of the gym by playing various games like soccer, dodge ball, basketball,
tag, parachute, and other various games.
NOTE: Mom/Dad will be responsible for invitations and helping with the clean up. A minimum of 2 adults per

We have designed a balanced preschool program ready to meet the educational, social,
emotional, motor and creative needs of children 3 to 5 years. Preschool children will be
introduced to letters, numbers, colors, shapes and other basic concepts. Pre-Kindergarten
children will be introduced to phonics, pre-writing skills, fine motor skills, reading readiness
and number concepts. Story-time, music activities, and seasonal art projects will be
included in the program. Throughout the year the children will be playing, learning, growing
and having fun with their peers.
These programs are offered 3 hours a day, 5 days, 3 days or 2 days per week September
through May. Full year or half year. Children must be 3 years old by September 1, 2021.
All children must be able to take care of their own bathroom needs. Mask will be worn while indoors. Vitual preschool is available for

Registration for Preschool 2021-2022 begins March 2 for residents and March 8 for non-residents. Open House is scheduled for
February 25 (6:00 - 7:00 p.m.). A detailed pamphlet with days, times, fees, etc. will be available at the end of January 2021. Office
hours are Monday thru Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. All children must be the proper age by September 1st of the current school
year and be able to take care of their own bathroom needs. Birth certificates and immunization records are required at the time of

This program will be held before school begins for parents who have their children enrolled in School District 117. Children may bring
their own pre-packaged snack and park staff will help them prepare for school each day. Students who attend Glen Oaks Elementary
School will be escorted to school by a Park Supervisor each morning. Students who are transported to school via a school bus must
make transportation arrangements before enrolling your child. This program will only be held on full and half days of school (District

After School Club 2021 “A Power Play! Beyond School Program” (December - June)
This program will be held after school for children that may need to go somewhere when school is over with, so they will come to
Krueger Park and have a blast. This program will only be held on full days of school (District 117). While the children are here they
will work on their school work, play a variety of games, make craft projects, play sports, or even go outside to play. The students that
attend Glen Oaks Elementary School will meet at the school with a Park Supervisor and will be walked over to Krueger Park at 2:45
p.m. and again after their Extended Day Program at 4:00 p.m. each day. The students from Dorn, Sorrick, Oak Ridge, and Conrady will
be transported to Krueger Park. There is no charge if they are on the bus program, however if they are not, additional fees may apply if
they wish to get transported by bus to Krueger Park. Students who are transported to school via a school bus must make transportation
arrangements before enrolling your child. Each day snacks will be provided by the park. Any child picked up after 6:10 p.m. will be
assessed a late fee (no exceptions). No refunds or credits, including for medical reasons. New students need to be registered one
week in advance (school transportation and park registration). Last minute changes cannot be made due to current regulations.
