UV-C Disinfection Explained
How it works?
UV technology destroys the genetic bonds
in pathogens rendering them unable to
replicate and cause infection.
UV light only works on directly exposed
surfaces in close proximity.
According to the FDA: “UVC radiation is
a known disinfectant for air, water, and
nonporous surfaces. UVC radiation has
effectively been used for decades to reduce
the spread of bacteria, such as tuberculosis.”
Why it works?
UV-C energy is completely absorbed by the
ozone layer.
Because of this, all bacteria and viruses
haven’t been exposed to it.
These organisms are left inhibited after
exposure to UV light.

UV TECHNOLOGY EXPLAINED
The delivery of UV-C light is based on the laws of physics with the Inverse Square Law.
This law states that every time the distance is doubled, the intensity of light energy is
reduced to ¼ of the power, not by ½.
For example, if the distance to a surface increases from 1ft. to 2ft. from the emitter, we
are left with only ¼ of the energy. If the distance to a surface increases from 1ft. to 4ft.
from the emitter, we are left with only 1/16 of the energy.

UV-C Disinfection Solutions

Inivos Ultra-V UV-C System
Ultra-V is a portable UV-C light decontamination
device to supplement manual cleaning. It emits light
specifically at the wavelength of 254nm through 10
powerful lamps. This high-intensity light level guar-
antees rapid decontamination ideal for high-risk
areas such as intensive care units (ICUs), neonatal

Healthe ENTRY® UV-C Gate
Healthe ENTRY® – Far-UVC Sanitizing Entry Gate
An effective sanitization system should include multiple points of protection. The Entry
provides the first defence line in reducing microbes on clothing and personal belong-
ings as people enter any indoor environment. The Entry employs far ultraviolet C (Far-
UVC) light, a narrow band of ultraviolet radiation proven to penetrate and inactivate
air and surface microbes. Unlike conventional UVC, Far-UVC does not require the use of
any UV protective equipment.
Positioning the Entry next to any high traffic or critical entry point can prevent the
spread of dangerous microorganisms like COVID-19 and create a safer environment.
People step into the Entry and make a slow 360° turn for 20 seconds to reduce the mi-

Healthe SPACE - UV Illumination
Healthe SPACE – UV Sanitizing and Illumination
The Healthe Space is a passive and continuous
method to sanitize surfaces in occupied spaces.
It is easy to install, simply unscrew the existing light
from a six-inch recessed downlight, remove existing
trim (if applicable), screw in the Healthe Space, push
it in place and flip the switch to start the sanitizing.
Equipped with a Far-UVC source, the Space deliv-
ers 222 nanometer light to inactivate microbes; the
reduction achieved is dependent on the type of
contaminant, distance from the source and duration
of exposure. Scientific data supports the germicidal
efficacy and human safety of the novel Far-UVC
(222nm) technology, including independent re-
search backed by many peer-reviewed papers.

The Healthe Air 2.0 is a multi-stage air sanitization system that combines the germicidal
properties of ultraviolet C (UV-C), and HEPA-Carbon activated filtration to improve air
