pursuing HIM WITH OUR
WHOLE heart
WELCOME TO WOMEN’S MINISTRY : 2020 - 2021
Recently Beth Moore released a new Bible study called “Chasing Vines.”
You will see that as one of our options for the fall. The study is about
John 15 and staying connected to the vine, which represents Jesus. It is
intentional. It’s all about our relationship with Jesus. I love that title and
it is influencing our booklet title for this next year. There is nothing more
important or rewarding than following Jesus, pursuing Him, and finding the
purpose He has for each one of us to serve Him.
My life verse is Jeremiah 29:13: “And you shall seek Me and find Me when
you search for Me with all your heart.” This verse indicates an active role
on our part to following Jesus. Together in communities of small groups
we grow and seek to know Him better and join Him on mission. We also
find friendships, prayer support, encouragement, and accountability as we
continue along this journey.
These communities and small groups include our Women’s Bible Studies
and various MomNation groups, Women’s Sunday School class, online Bible
studies, along with events and gatherings.
It is our hope that you will spend some time with this booklet and find
ways to join us as we are Chasing Jesus and pursuing Him. Wherever you
are on your journey, whether just beginning or a follower for many years,
all women have a place in our Women’s Ministry.

LISA HARPER
Thursday, February 4 | 7 –9 PM
Cost: $25
Rarely are the terms hilarious storyteller and theological
scholar used in the same sentence, much less used to
describe the same person, but then again Lisa Harper is
anything but stereotypical! She’s been lauded as a gifted
communicator whose writing and speaking overflow with
colorful pop culture references that connect the dots
between the Bible era and modern life. Her style combines
sound scriptural exposition with easy-to-relate to anecdotes
and comedic wit.
Her academic resume includes a Master of Theological
Studies with honors from Covenant Seminary and she is
currently working on her doctorate at Denver Seminary. If
you can’t find Lisa studying, teaching, or riding a motorcycle,
she’s probably typing on a keyboard somewhere because
she’s had 13 books published.
Ladies, join us for a laugh out loud, deeply enriched time of
learning, worshiping, and loving Jesus with Lisa Harper!
Tickets will go on sale Thursday, January 10, 2021
