INTRODUCTION:

I. INTRODUCTION

Regatta LIONS RALLY is a traditional humanitarian social event of Lions Club Konjice and
District 129 Slovenia, which will in 2020 undergo a jubilee of 11th iteration. The organizer of
this event is trying to create a pleasant 3-day long peaceful and relaxing socializing event in
the environment of Middle Dalmatia.

Humanitarian purpose of the project »Lions Rally« is raising funds for the participation of
children in an international project »Mirno more/Friedensflotte/Peacefleet «. In 2020 we will
raise funds for the participation of up to 2 teams on an active sailing boat holiday with up to 12
children (children with special needs and children from socially weak environments). More

The regatta will be held between the 27st of May and the 30st of May 2020, starting in Marina

REGATTA:

Rules of the competition:

Competition will be held under the rules of the ISAF 2019 - 2020 (RRS), this notice for the
race, sailing instructions and notifications of the race committee, international regulations on
avoiding a collision of vessels, and on the basis of rules specific regulations for offshore
competitions.

Boats

Competition will be held on the vessels provided by the organizer:

- 15 sailboats BAVARIA, model Cruiser 46 (2015), up to 8+1 members of the crew (4 cabins
and saloon), the minimum number of registered individual members of the crew are eight

Support vessels are optional – selected by the organizer and based on the number of crews.

Competition with other vessels is not possible. Use of your own sails and other equipment is
not allowed, gennaker sail is included in price.

Scoring

The regatta will be scored with Low point system - Appendix "A" Sailing,

Simple Scoring scored points in each race:
1. Place 1
2. Place 2
3. Place 3
Each subsequent place +1 point.

Scoring is done for each race separately. The winner will be the boat that collects the
minimum number of points in the standings of all races. If two boats have the same number of
points, the winner will be determined in accordance with ISAF rules.

Participation in the race involves:

- Rent, food in restaurants (4x breakfast, 2x lunch, 3x dinner), 3x berth for the duration of the
event, final cleaning of vessels, organization of competitions, trophies and promotional
clothing for all participants in the contest.

The cost of fuel and transported to the marina are not included in the price. The price of
participation also does not include the cost of the tourist tax. Parking in the marina Hramina is
free for up to 2 vehicles/crew.

Fee for the regatta XIV. Lions Rally 2020

The fee for the boat:
   - 1.500 €

The fee for the crew:

   -   250 € / person

CALCULATION: boat € 1.500 + 8 persons (8X250 EUR) € 2,400 = € 3,425 + 22% VAT (for donations
without VAT)

Minimum number of crew members is 8. Prices (boat and crew) do not include VAT. In the
case of individual payment - the fee for the regatta - no VAT is charged.

Registrations and payment:

The deadline for applications with confirmation - payment the deposit in the amount of 1.000 €
is: 24. 12. 2020
