Dear Client,
The 1st April 2020 marks the 10th anniversary of the formation and launch of TML Travel
Group Limited and we are offering all our clients the opportunity to mark this event by way
of a very special 10th anniversary ‘Grand Day Out’. Without you, the business would not be
the success it has become today.
Following the success of last summers anniversary ‘Grand Day Out’ to mark 30 years since I operated my very first
coach tour, we have decided to return to the Lake District for the company’s 10th Anniversary ‘Grand Day Out’.
Our ‘Grand Days Out’ are designed to recapture the essence of the Golden Age of Travel by offering a luxury
travelling experience, excellent service, a traditional touring style itinerary & a three couse evening meal, all
included in the price. This years ‘Grand Day Out’ will see us head for the northern lakes and in particular Dalemain
House and Ullswater.
Our anniversary year has coincided with the fact that we have recently been crowned ‘Most Unique Niche Tour
Operators - UK’ at the LUXlife 2020 Travel & Tourism Awards! This nomination and award was totally unexpected
but we’ve known for some time what we do is rather special and it’s nice to receive some official recognition!

MAJESTIC ULLSWATER & DALEMAIN HOUSE
From your local departure point, we journey to in the Northern Lakes, where we arrive late
morning. Located near Ullswater, Historic Dalemain house and gardens is one of the most beautiful stately
homes in the North West of England. The finely dressed pink stone of its Georgian façade glows magnificently
in the sunlight. Yet hidden behind the ordered geometry of its Palladian architecture is the story of its past. We
have included a guided tour before allowing you time at leisure to enjoy this magnificent house and its gardens.
Early afternoon, we transfer you to the lakeside village of where we board one of the award
winning for a 2 hour heritage cruise savouring the majestic scenery Ullswater has to offer.
Ullswater runs a serpentine course for eight miles through expansive vistas of Lakeland’s highest mountains.
Helvellyn at 3,117ft (950m) crowns Ullswater, at the South-Western end of the valley, standing on a mighty
plateau approximately 9 miles (14.5km) in length and 4.5 miles (7km) wide. On return to Glenridding, we
rejoin our luxury coach as we head to the hotel for an anniversary dinner this evening.
Following dinner, we depart for home taking the memories of this fabulous anniversary Grand Day Out home
with us to arrive back at your original joining point late evening.
