Dear Friends,
It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Annual U2 Connection Bull Sale. We are so grateful for
your interest and humbled by the support we have received from our loyal customers, friends and family.
Our focus remains the same here, we are committed to producing quality, affordable genetics that will
positively influence the bottom line for the commercial cattleman. This program does not follow fads or
trends, but rather uses stacked generations of proven and built on genetics that are very predictable and
work in all environments. Bulls that produce high performing steers and females with strong maternal traits
are what keep the commercial cattleman in business. Nothing is more important and rewarding than to
hear customer feedback on the bulls, their progeny and resulting replacements over the years.
The 2022 sale is highlighted by the first offerings of Township, Estranged, Missouri River, Urgent
and Headliner/Headstrong progeny while we will also be bringing you more sons of Dominion, Resolve,
Attractive, TKO, Emblem, Copenhagen and Nova. This has been a very special crop of bulls for us here and
we are very proud to present them to you! All bulls have been developed together in large runs that allow
them the room for exercise and travel and TO BE BULLS!
Like always, we will let the bulls speak for themselves and encourage everyone to come out to the
ranch ahead of time for a viewing of the bulls, to see their environment and most importantly the dams
behind them. It is an honor and privilege to serve as your seedstock source. If we can be of assistance in any

It’s with a great deal of excitement that we welcome you to the annual U2 Connection Bull Sale on the ranch near Coaldale,
your herd bull headquarters! The Connection group consisting of U2 Quality Seedstock and Sunberry Valley Ranch are like minded
operations that go hand in hand with one another. These two operations are at the forefront of the breed and are truly industry leaders
for quality cattle and it’s certainly no surprise as to why they host one of the most successful sales every spring. Their strong following
of repeat customers is impressive and a true testament to the customer service and quality of product they supply, these bulls are bred
and managed to get out and work in whatever type of environment they are placed into. The amount of purebred operations that shop
herd bulls out of these programs year to year is equally as impressive as it shows just how committed the Connection group is to the beef
industry as they are always offering new, fresh genetics that are backed by one of the best sets of papered cows in North America.
The 2022 sale offering features the highly anticipated rookie calf crops from the $130,000 Township, Estranged, Headliner and
Missouri River to name a few and these sire groups have blown past expectations, thick made, hairy, sound beef bulls that are sure to
impress. Returning sires like Copenhagen, Dominion, Resolve and Attractive are also represented again, back by popular demand and
when you view these sire groups, you’ll see why they have become household names. The Connection bulls are as deep and consistent in
type and kind as you will find almost anywhere as these herd bull prospects have the desirable phenotype, eye appeal, body shape, foot
structure, colour and hair to suit all your needs. These bulls are managed with longevity in mind as they are housed in large, open pens
to promote lots of exercise, being fed a balanced TMR that promotes growth and internal health. You will notice as you flip through the
catalog many, 1/2, 3/4 and full brothers will be available, making this pen extremely uniform. The intense embryo transplant program,
strict Ai breeding and use of some of the industry’s best walking herd bulls, has created this powerful set of sale bulls. The hard working
cows that back this set of bulls is as stacked as you can make it. Generations after generations of cow families are on top of one another
and the fundamentals seen throughout the large cowherd is very impressive. Females with extra body capacity, strong feet with great
udders and the ability to thrive in the southern Alberta climates and maintain body condition are a few of the things that are at the

The lead off $130,000 phenom from many folks favorite flushes in recent
red history. The US semen rights were sold almost immediately following
the 2020 sale as Rhodes and Twedt Red Angus, the contending bidders,
locked them up. A standout from birth, Township was a calf I’ll personally
never forget. Day one favorites tend to peak early or let off the gas at
some point but not 17G. This massive, strong topped, cherry red, all-star
displayed tremendous herd bull character that all admired, stamped by
his incredible skull shape and presence. Township went to stud before
and after the 2020 sale, as well as to Joliet and produced mature herd
bull quality semen like his sire before. Then came back home and bred
like a three year old bull. Sons are easy to pick out as they exploit the same
presence, muscle patterns and are just as deep flanked. The home run
appears to be on the female side, arguably the most complete set of
replacements front to back. This comes as no surprise as they are backed
by the red angus queen, Beauty 113Z. No more Canadian semen will be for
