FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE ETHEKWINI EISTEDDFOD

The Ethekwini Eisteddfod receives no financial support from Government, or from the
business sector.
For the past 12 years we have managed to run the Eisteddfod based purely on money
received from entry fees, donations at the door from non-participants during daily
sessions, and donations at the door for the Prize Winners’ concert.
In addition, we have gratefully received a number of donations from private individuals
and schools.
However, the cost of adjudicator’s airfares and accommodation, the printing of
certificates, etc continues to increase.
We therefore appeal to all parents / teachers / school governing bodies / PTAs /
business owners / and anyone else interested in seeing the Eisteddfod continue to
provide a platform for the professional assessment of student performance, as well as
the opportunity to perform in public, to consider making a donation towards our running
costs.
Direct payments can be made by depositing into:
        Account Name: ETHEKWINI EISTEDDFOD
        Account number: 238 204 3911 (Savings)
        Bank Nedbank
        Branch Pavilion
        Branch code 138 22
Please make sure your name and the words ‘donation’ appear on the deposit
slip.
