About INF Netball Americas
The International Netball Federation's Americas region includes North
America, South America, Central America and the Caribbean. The
members of the region taking part in the qualifier are:
ARGENTINA: ANTIGUA& BARBAUDA: BERMUDA: CANADA: UNITED
STATES OF AMERICA: TRINIDAD & TOBAGO: ST. LUCIA: ST. VINCENT AND
THE GRENADINES: GRENADA: ST. MARTEAN AND BARBADOS.
Netball is a popular sport in most Caribbean countries and is played
from the primary school level right up to the national and international
level. Netball entered the Commonwealth Games in 1998 and has
remained a spectator “must see “during the Games.. As of January
2018, several teams in the region ranked amongst the top 20 in the
world, including Jamaica (4th), Trinidad & Tobago (13th) Barbados
(11th), Canada (18th), Grenada (15th), Saint Lucia (19th).

About the INF Americas World
Cup Qualifiers
Netball is an integral part of the dynamic sporting culture of the
Americas. It is the most popular female sport in the region, since its
introduction to the region as ‘women’s basketball’ in North America in
the early 1900,s
This year Barbados will be hosting the Americas Federation of Netball
Associations (AFNA) Qualifier – August 24-Sept 02- at the gymnasium
which will see the top two teams advancing to the World Cup in
Liverpool in 2019. Barbados hosted the first AFNA qualifier in 2006 with
the Bajan Gems emerging second behind Trinidad and Tobago.

The Broadcast
The broadcast will feature a rich production team of camera men, technical
assistants, graphic specialist and a Netball host, in addition to specially invited
guests from Barbados and participating teams.
Our aim is to create a world class experience where sponsorship is integral to the
success of the online broadcast. Based on the level of investment, sponsors will be
given prominence from 30 second ads, visibility via scrolling marques to
intermittent logo flashing across the screen.
To further solidify our sponsor brands with the event, the online host will be
reminding viewers that this event could only be made possible by sponsors.
We believe that not only will the games be historic but a huge honour and
experience for the visiting teams and Barbados as well. That’s why we’re producing
this broadcast so fans of Netball in the Americas can share in the excitement of the
