ADVANCETRAC® WITH RSC® (ROLL STABILITY CONTROL™)1
enhances vehicle stability in a wide range of conditions. By selectively
applying individual brakes and modifying engine power, the system
helps keep all 4 wheels firmly planted. In addition, Curve Control1 helps
slow the vehicle down if you’re heading into a curve too quickly.
ENHANCED ACTIVE PARK ASSIST 2,3 can help when backing into
a perpendicular spot or parallel parking. The system uses ultrasonic
sensors to identify a parking space that’s just the right size, then steers
Escape into it. All you do is follow on-screen prompts, and operate the
accelerator, brake and gear shifter as needed. It provides assistance
as you pull out of your parking spot as well.
FORD SAFE AND SMART ™ PACKAGE makes it easy to get all of these
helpful driver-assist technologies2 and more:
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL & FORWARD COLLISION
WARNING WITH BRAKE SUPPORT 3 helps maintain your
choice of speed and preset gaps from the vehicle in front
of you. It can also alert you to a potential collision. If one is
detected, the system flashes a warning, sounds an alarm,
and can pre-charge the brakes to provide full responsiveness
when you do brake.
AUTO HIGH-BEAM HEADLAMPS can detect vehicles and
street lights ahead of you, automatically switching between
low and high beams as a convenience to you, and a courtesy
to other motorists.
BLIS® (BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM) WITH
CROSS-TRAFFIC ALERT 3 warns you if it detects a vehicle in
either of your blind spots while attempting to change lanes,
or approaching from either side while in Reverse.4
LANE-KEEPING SYSTEM 3,5 alerts you with steering wheel
vibration if it detects you drifting out of your lane, and can
even apply steering wheel torque to help direct you to return
