Site staff will direct users to bins available for use. This site will only be used to drop off household waste. Furni- ture, appliances, contractor waste and yard waste will not be accepted at this site. Only waste in residential bags that will fit through the bear resistant lids will be accepted. The Transfer Station will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday and all users will be required to take solid waste to the Columbia Valley Landfill located on Windermere Loop Road. The Columbia Valley Landfill is open 7 days a week 9am - 6pm. Household garbage is free. Tues-Fri 9am-3:45pm. Sat 10am-3:45pm. 133 Industrial Rd No 2, Invermere. 250 342 7272 Recycling at the Columbia Valley Landfill A new recycling program has been set up at the Columbia Valley Landfill, which will allow users to recycle more items! Containers must be sealed and labelled. Jars/Yogurt containers are not accepted. Empty containers are accepted, but please no brushes or rags.
