As an on-campus resident, students are required to have a Dining Plan.

When you apply online for Texas Tech University student housing.

Three Dining Plans at varying costs are available to meet your needs. The price of
a Dining Plan includes an Dining Operations Cost plus applicable tax to cover all
overhead expenses.* This allows us to keep the facilities clean and updated, as well * Dining Bucks (DBs) cover food cost, disposables, supplies and per meal tax. Rates include the Dining Operations
as bring new and unique dining options to campus. Plus, we return this cost to you Cost of $1,720 (plus current applicable state/local sales tax) for the entire year to cover the cost to open the doors.

USE YOUR PLAN
How do Dining Plans work?
Your Dining Plan is similar to a debit card. Instead of managing
a dollar balance, you use Dining Bucks to buy food items at
Hospitality Services dining locations on campus. With each
purchase, Dining Bucks are deducted from your balance. We help
you manage your Dining Bucks by splitting them evenly between
fall (50%) and spring (50%) semesters.*
*DBs are billed 60% in the fall and 40% in the spring as part of the Housing contract.
Where is my Dining Plan?
Your Dining Plan is on your University ID card.
Where can I use my Dining Plan?
You can use your Dining Bucks at any of Hospitality Services
numerous locations on campus.

Can I change my Dining Plan?
Dining Plans may be changed through the 20th class day of each semester.
How do I determine my Dining Plan balance?
When you make a purchase at any Hospitality Services location, the balance will
display on the register and is available on your receipt. You can also access your
balance online with your eRaider info at hospitality.ttu.edu under On-Campus
Dining>Resources>Manage your Dining Bucks Tab.
What if I run out of Dining Bucks?
Add Dining Bucks at any time during the fall or spring semester; online
at hospitality.ttu.edu
Do my Dining Bucks rollover?
Yes, 100% of unused Dining Bucks will roll over if signing another Living & Dining
contract. If moving off campus, Dining Bucks will automatically rollover 70%
of the unused balance at the end of the Spring semester to a Commuter Dining
Plan. The Commuter Dining Plan is a great way for off-campus students to take
advantage of all the great Hospitality Services dining facilities on campus by
receiving a 15% discount on food purchases. This plan is available to use as long
as a student is enrolled at Texas Tech University.

Sí, 100% de los Dining Bucks se pueden trasferir en cuanto se firme otro contrato de
vivienda y Plan de Comidas. Si te vas a mudar fuera de los dormitorios, 70% del balance
será transferido al final del semestre de primavera a un plan de comidas llamado:
Commuter Dining Plan. El Commuter Dining Plan es la mejor manera para que
los estudiantes que viven fuera de la universidad aprovechen todos los restaurantes
que ofrecen los Servicios de Hospitalidad al recibir el 15% de descuento en todas sus
compras de comidas. Esté plan esta disponible siempre y cuando el estudiante este
inscrito en la Universidad de Texas Tech.
