The completion of the Senior School precinct and refurbishment of A Wing has now provided first class facilities for teaching and
learning, our International Student Program and Staff Professional Learning.
The Leadership Team committed to supporting staff and instructional practice through:
• Targeted PD for both asynchronous and synchronous learning as experienced in Terms 2 and 3
• PLT focus on staff wellbeing and embedding strategies to support student wellbeing and to track learner progress
• Continuous examples of exemplary practices shared through Special Pedagogy Editions of the Principal Team Notices and
other communications
• The mentoring of staff by Leading Teachers and Learning Specialists
• Weekly meetings enabling collaboration for team planning, curriculum design and assessments
• Continued mentoring of aspirant staff through LDG program which has resulted in a range of staff taking up leadership
responsibilities for the first time in 2021
Student Services and Subschool teams continued to support students and families through regular communications and meetings. A
suite of wellbeing strategies, online presentations and lesson plans supported students.
We are extremely proud of our commitment to community throughout the year by continuing our General Assemblies, Vision and
Values Evening, Graduation Evening, Student Committee and Student Services Key Events (amongst others) and the Lion Newsletter.
The community stayed connected and safe.
