Overview Packet2021 eDynamic Learning Career Compass Awards
Thank you for your interest in the first annual eDynamic Learning Career Compass Awards!
As a teacher founded company, we take great pride in helping schools engage students in the discovery of new
and unique career fields through our digital curriculum. Our mission is clear --to enable schools to give students
opportunities to tie their interests and skills to rewarding professions. Discovering one’s unique skills, talents, and
interests is the path that enables students to find success in school, college and/or career.
We know that teachers, like you, make the biggest difference in the lives of their students every day, and this is our
opportunity to recognize and celebrate your success.
The eDynamic Learning Career Compass Award honors teachers using eDynamic Learning to
guide passion to purpose, keep students engaged, and prepare them for their future.
We want to recognize outstanding teachers using eDynamic Learning in the following
CTE categories:
1. Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources
2. Arts, A/V, Technology & Communications
3. Business, Finance & Marketing
4. Information Technology, STEM & Engineering
5. Education & Human Services
6. Health Science
7. Law, Public Safety & Government
8. Hospitality & Tourism

GENERAL INFORMATION
ELIGIBILITY
Please make sure to read through each of the eligibility requirements, criteria, and questions before submitting
your application.
• The 2021 eDynamic Learning Career Compass Award is open to any United States certified teacher currently
teaching a CTE course utilizing the eDynamic Learning curriculum in their public, private, virtual, or charter
school program.
• Qualifying teachers must service at least 8 students in grades 9th-12th.
• Please select the category, or categories, that best support the course(s) you teach. If you teach courses in more
than one category, you may apply for up to two.
• You, as the teacher, must have approval by your school/district to participate in the application/award process.
• Application must be complete to be considered.
• eDynamic Learning employees and their relatives are not eligible to apply.

1. Application submission period is between February 10th 2021 9:00 AM EDT – April 5th, 2021 11:59 PM EDT.
2. You may apply for up to two categories but if you are selected as a finalist, you will be eligible as a finalist for
only one category based on the score of your application.
3. Voting by a 5 member Educator Advisory Panel will take place from April 6th-April 9th, 2021 and will select up to
three (3) finalists from each of the above eight (8) categories to be shortlisted using the rubric attached in the
application. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
4. Applicants and finalists will be notified via email on April 12th, 2021.
5. The finalists will be recognized on the eDynamic Learning website and included in a press release on April 13th,
2021.
6. Finalists will all be featured Saturday, May 22th, 2021 during the eDynamic Learning Virtual Summit at a special
virtual Career Compass Award ceremony and one (1) winner from each category will be announced during that
live event. All finalists must be available to participate at the hour long ceremony on May 22nd, 2021.
*If no applications were submitted for a particular career category, the category will be eliminated.
SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRY
• Please make sure you fill out all required fields in the form, including all questions to be eligible for consideration.
• Each response in the questionnaire may not exceed 250 words (approximately 1500 characters).
• Submit the completed application packet, in one of the two following formats:
1. Electronic format: Fill out the application through our online form located at: https://go.edynamiclearning.
com/l/855153/2021-02-03/2bz4z. Send your headshot and any additional images you wish to share about
your program to careercompassawards@edynamiclearning.com. Please have your files include your name
and reference any images with the question responses.

2. Printed/Scanned or PDF copy format: Email the scanned or pdf version of your application, your
headshot and any additional images you wish to share about your program to careercompassawards@
edynamiclearning.com. Please have your files include your name and reference any images with the
question responses.
* Any visual evidence you optionally provide cannot include images of students faces or information, personal
identifiers, or proprietary information.
DEADLINE
The application packet must be submitted on, or before, April 5th, 2021 at 11:59 PM EDT. The application must include
your contact details, the questionnaire, your brief bio, release form and a headshot photo (Headshot photos and short
bios will be used to recognize finalists on the eDynamic Learning website.)

NOMINEE AWARDS:
• The finalists from the eight (8) different categories will be recognized at the eDynamic Learning Career Compass
Award virtual ceremony on Saturday, May 22nd, 2021, which takes place during the eDynamic Learning Virtual
Summit -May 21st and May 22nd. Industry organizations and school districts will present on topics related to CTE
and elective courseware for grades 6-12 on topics such blended learning, online learning, and best practices for
engaging students online.
FIRST PLACE AWARD (1 WINNER IN EACH OF THE 8 CATEGORIES) RECEIVES THE FOLLOWING:
• A $5,000 dollar Curriculum Grant for the winning teacher and his or her students at the school they are teaching
(provided for the 2021/2022 school year)
• Complimentary eDynamic Learning Online Professional Development 2 hour webinar workshop for up to 25
participants AND one self-paced eDL Professional Development course license for the teacher (must be utilized
within one year of winning the award)
• A laptop for the teacher (provided by May 22, 2021)
• A featured story about the winning teacher and their CTE program on eDynamic Learning website in 2021.
• Teacher featured on the eDynamic Learning website and included in a press release (April 13, 2021)
• The opportunity to present a session at the eDynamic Learning Virtual Summit (May 21-22, 2021)
• A gift box of appreciation from eDynamic Learning (provided by May 22, 2021)
• Award trophy (provided by May 22, 2021)
*The $5,000 grant award is valid for one school year and is not available in the form of cash or a refund. The grant
funding can be used toward the license of eDynamic Learning curriculum and/or professional development services.

• Featured on the eDynamic Learning website (April 13, 2021)
• Recognized at the eDynamic Learning Career Compass Award virtual ceremony (May 22, 2021)
