PARKING AND ADMISSION
Admission charges (admission for children 12 years & under free - no ticket required)
The price of admission includes the use of unreserved arena seating only throughout the dressage days (Thursday & Friday) and the
cross country day (Saturday). However, in order to watch the jumping (Sunday) grandstand tickets also need to be purchased for both
adults and children (N.B: These grandstand tickets usually sell out in advance).

A vehicle pass does not include personal admission for the driver (less coach drivers).

COACHES (25 seater plus)
Coaches (25 seater plus) will be directed to the Coach Park. A Vehicle pass (please see price list) and a personal admission ticket will
be required for all occupants. (No charge for coach drivers). Children 12 years and under are free.

Limited forward parking is available for disabled. Advance booking only and evidence of blue badge details will be required. Admission
charges apply to the disabled visitor, however accompanying registered carers will be admitted free of charge by advanced booking

Wheelchairs & Electric Scooters: For Dressage, Cross Country & Show Jumping - a small uncovered ringside enclosure reserved for
wheelchair users is situated at the front of the West Stand (Block D). No Electric Scooters or Wheelchairs are to be left in the Grandstand
walkways. No dogs (except assistance dogs) allowed. Please telephone Box Office for prices and full details.

The BBC will broadcast their usual Sunday 2 hour highlights programme culminating with live coverage of the top ten show jumping to see
who will be crowned the 2022 Badminton winner. All live coverage of the dressage and cross country will be produced by the same team
that deliver our BBC coverage ensuring top quality viewing worldwide on Badminton TV (via the event website as in previous years) and
available for purchase via the Badminton TV page of the website from the 6th January for a discounted annual fee of £14.99; if purchased

RADIO BADMINTON
Horseware Ireland Radio Badminton in conjunction with SoundDec.
Continuous live radio commentary everyday including dressage tests in full, with our technical experts. The Voltaire Design Grassroots
Championships is not included in the radio commentary on Wednesday. Receivers available at the price of £9 (in advance) vouchers
exchangeable at the Horseware Ireland Radio Badminton sales kiosk, Organisers/Box Office or Members' Enclosure kiosks; £10 (on
the ground).

Caravans; Motorhomes; Live-in Horseboxes; Tents: A Campsite Pitch Pass admits either a motorhome, horsebox,
caravan or tent to the Camping Site.
A “Campsite/Season Public” car pass will also be issued which will give a car access to the Camping Site and Public
Car Parks.
All passes must be purchased in advance and all vehicles entering the Camping Site must bear the relevant pass.
(Only vehicles bearing campsite passes will be admitted to the Camping Site even in the evening.) Additional Campsite/
Season Public car pass(es) only available to those booking or having booked a Camping Site. Sites will be allocated
according to pitch size (see Price List). All items, e.g. caravan, tent, car, awning, etc. must fit within the pitch, with the
exception of an “additional car” which may be sited nearby. As a guide, a small 1 or 2 man tent & car will normally fit
into a Small Pitch (4m frontage x 5m depth). An “average size” caravan, car & awning will normally fit into a Standard
Pitch (7m frontage x 8m depth). Also available Large Pitch (12m frontage x 8m depth).
Generators are permitted but please see website www.badminton-horse.co.uk/camping-site/ for further details.
For each booked pitch, 2 Campsite/Personal Admission (whole event) badges will be issued, for admission to the
Camping Site and to the Event grounds.

N.B. All persons (including driver of car/motorhome/horsebox) require personal passes except for children 12 years

Lakeside Pavilions
Saturday’s cross-country course will again start and finish in the main arena, where the first and last fences will also be
sited.
Tables may be reserved in advance only for the duration of a meal and not specifically in front of the closed-circuit
televisions. For ‘all day’ tables, please book in the Portcullis Club.
Closed-circuit televisions will show the event action continuously, while the garden enclosure outside the marquee gives
a partial view of the main arena.
Toilets for the use of Members and guests only are situated in the Enclosure.
N.B. Weds: Snacks and drinks only will be served and no action will be shown on the closed-circuit televisions.
(Members are advised that grandstand seats will give a better view of Sunday’s show jumping than the inevitably
crowded garden enclosure.)
Members’ Enclosure Admission Badges may be purchased via the Badminton Box Office. It is also possible to book
a Lunch inclusive Membership option which includes a two-course buffet Lunch with table reservation for the duration
of a meal only and not specifically in front of the closed-circuit televisions. Available Thursday – Sunday. A Bellini
Breakfast for an early start on Saturday’s Cross Country day is also pre-bookable – see price list. Early application is
advised as numbers will be limited. Children 12 and under are admitted free of charge. It is regretted that NO dogs, other
than Assistance Dogs, may be brought into either the marquee or the enclosure, nor may food or drink be brought in for

N.B Car Parking and Personal Ground Admission tickets are required in addition to gain access to the event.
Owners, Riders and Badminton Officials will have complimentary admission to the Members’ Enclosure. Only badges
admit to the Enclosure.

DOGS
While dogs are welcome at Badminton, they must be kept on a lead, and are not permitted in the grandstands nor the
Badminton Members’ Enclosure sponsored by WEATHERBYS HAMILTON nor the Portcullis Club nor any other
restaurant and should not be left in cars. Any distressed dogs will be removed from vehicles by the R.S.P.C.A./Police. For

GENERAL CONDITIONS
REFUNDS
No duplicate can be issued nor refund made in respect of any lost, forgotten, unused or surplus vehicle passes or
personal admission tickets/badges.
Grandstand tickets only: Subject to a deduction of 50%, money will be refunded on any grandstand ticket returned before
31st March 2022. NO REFUND AFTER THAT DATE.
CANCELLATION or ABANDONMENT
If the event is cancelled, prepaid tickets will be refunded upon request within 28 days following the event in full in respect
of any day that is cancelled before the start of that day’s competition. In respect of items covering the whole event (Season
tickets, Camping Site, etc.) the following proportions will be refunded: cancelled before Wednesday or Thursday starts
100%; before Friday 85%; before Saturday 60%; before Sunday 15%.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Organisers or anyone for whom they are in law
responsible, neither the Organisers, Badminton Horse Trials Ltd., the British Equestrian Federation, British Eventing, The
Trustees of the Somerset Trust, The Duke of Beaufort and his Estates, Swangrove Estates Ltd. nor any agent, employee
or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury, illness to horses, owners,
riders, grooms, spectators, sponsors, dogs, exhibitors, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or
property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to Badminton Horse Trials to any persons or to withdraw permission
at any time to remain on the Event Site and shall not be required to give any reason for such action.
