Dear St. Gabriel Family,
So much has changed in our schedules, in our families, and in the way we
operate in our daily lives over the past 2 years. I think the question
simmering under the surface of all this mess is where do God and our faith
fit in? During chaos and uncertainty, we have allowed ourselves to become
spectators at Mass, to put off our most important things for a time when life
seems easier or more normal. I invite you to choose to make faith a part of
your daily life. Use this diocese Eucharist Initiative as a chance to deepen
your love for the Eucharist and the Mass. Last weekend we had our
Ministry Fair in the courtyard after all of our Masses. Consider joining one
of our many ministries. It is never too late to engage in your parish
community. Below and continued on page 6 is information about our
various ministries and the ways to get involved. Please don’t hesitate to
give something new a try – it just might be exactly how God is choosing to
reach out to you.
