The Italian region of Veneto revolutionizes its users smart desktop experience
Citrix Workspace offered a secured remote access to over 1.800 users in less than a week
At the beginning of March 2020, with the worsening of the Covid-19 pandemic, the “Agenzia Digitale” requested Infonet Solutions to enable the Regione Veneto employees
to work from outside the Company premises. The need was that of enabling every user to access the Company resources such as desktop, applications and shared files
from anywhere at any time.
The challenge was enabling over 450 concurrent users to access those services within 10 days (before the lockdown measures were to be in force) as pausing their services
was not an option for the Regione Veneto.
The challenge was not just accepted by the Infonet Solutions team but a stunning result has been achieved with the Citrix Platform operational by March 10 and with
greater performances than the physical workstations!
