• Proposed programme:
• 21.-22.8. (Sun-Mon) Pre- Field course and excursion for students in the south-
western Finnish Lapland (Rovaniemi-Tervola-Tornio region)
• Ice breaker party in the Mon evening
• 23.8. (Tue) Conference opening and the first technical sessions
• 24.8. (Wed) Excursion in the Rovaniemi and its surrounding areas, e.g. Ounasvaara
Hill and the highest shore lines, some glacial morphologies, glaciofluvial formations
and pot holes in Hirvas Village, and visit in the Santa Claus Village on the Arctic Circle
• Conference dinner in the Wed evening
• 25.-26.8. (Thu-Fri) Technical sessions continue, poster session on Thu afternoon.
End of the conference in the Friday afternoon
• Option: Possibility to organize Workshops on Monday
