A South Pacific Cruise Conference - Nurses for Nurses
The Isle of Pines

The Fabulous World of Wound Management
"A conference for Nurses who have a passion for wound care"
The Nurses for Nurses Network has created a nine-module wound management
program that provides the Nurse with the skill and knowledge to assess, plan, and
manage wounds in the clinical setting to achieve the best possible outcome for the
   client.

In this conference, we will explore modules one, five, six, and seven. The content of
each module stands alone as a continuing professional development (CPD) activity
and the completion of each module will be awarded a CPD Certificate as evidence of
the education activity. There is a total of 26 CPD hours allocated in this Conference
   program.

This exceptional Conference is being held on the Carnival Spirit as we cruise the
pristine blue seas of the South Pacific where sunshine and smiles meet. You can take
a dip in the crystal-clear waters, be welcomed by the locals as you check out the
markets and immerse yourself in village life, feel the white sand between your toes and
just relax in this laid-back island paradise. And if you love food, the awesome fusion of
local Melanesian and French flavours can't be missed.

The Carnival Spirit has a dedicated conference venue where the conference will be
held during the days we are at sea. Travel with your family and friends – while you are
attending an exceptional Nursing Conference they can explore the ship and get
involved in onboard activities. Then each day after the conference sessions you can
kick back and relax with them – what a great way to mix your need to keep up to date
with best practice Nursing education and spend time with your family and friends in a
   spectacular location.

The Presenter:
Cheryl Dezotti is a Director, a Nurse Education
                                                                       Cheryl Dezotti
Consultant, and a Wound Care Specialist at the Nurses
for Nurses Network. Cheryl co-created and administers
this Network to provide an online platform for Nurses to
meet their continuing professional development
requirements. She is also the editor, and major
contributor, of the Nursing News Blog associated with this
Network.

Cheryl has worked extensively in the field of wound care
management over the last 30 years. This passion for
wound care has seen her lecture widely on the topic both
in Australia and internationally and has led her to author a
wound assessment book, multiple wound management
documents, as well as creating a post graduate wound
care course.

Recently Cheryl has launched the Nurses for Nurses Wound Assessment Tool that was
created based on her extensive experience in the field and her continued interaction with
nursing colleagues, mentoring and assisting them to achieve the best possible wound
management outcome for their clients. Cheryl continues her research into best practice wound
assessment by overseeing a trial of the assessment tool in multiple clinical settings.

As an author, Cheryl’s aim is to provide the reader information that can be easily and
practically applied in the clinical setting. As a presenter, Cheryl is known for her ability to
deliver the complexities of wound management in a straight forward and easily understood
format that allows attendees to easily apply the content to their individual clinical practice.

Cheryl’s aim is to make a difference to the recipients of health care and she believes that a
positive outcome for the patient can only be achieved if Nurses keep up to date with best
practice guidelines and their practical application in the workplace.

The Online Library:
The Library has been created so that you have
access to some of the Conference content prior
to our sail date.

The documents, including self-directed activities
and webinars, from our Conference Presenter,
are provided so that you can create your own
conference experience and access information
and sessions of interest prior to the
commencement of the Conference program.

The first session in Module One should be viewed prior to the commencement of the
Conference as it will provide you with the necessary knowledge to support your
learning in the other modules presented at the Conference.
