I suggest you choose Amity for exposure, comfort & improve your ability but
don't expect placements.
Placements: I had high expectations f or placements when I joined Amity, but very soon, I
realised that it is not as I expected. Very f ew jobs and internships are provided even at the
master's level. Even internships which are provided are rather unpaid, or the ones with a
minimum stipend.

Inf rastructure: Classrooms and library here are really spacious and good. There are
various options to have f ood.
Faculty: The course which I am pursuing here is well designed and contains most of the
aspects of journalism and mass communication. I learned a lot during this course and had a
whole new experience. Some of the f aculty members here are really amazing. They have a
really vast knowledge of what they are teaching. But some of them are just available to
waste time. My course curriculum is relevant to a certain extent. I learned a lot.

Inf rastructure: The quality of the f ood served is good, and also there are many f ood
options in the canteen area. Medical f acilities are also very good, and the sports area is
huge. The library is the best place on the campus, and I can sit there f or many hours and
read peacef ully. Overall, the f acilities are great.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant, but there are many subjects which make it a little
dif f icult to cope up later. Teachers always provide us with career suggestions and also
provide us with the materials which we need to prepare. They are well qualif ied and also can
speak in English well.

Other: I chose this course to become a reporter or editor, and I was very interested in
pursuing it. Our college provides many f acilities.

I had a really good experience here. I am waiting for my course to complete
successfully.
Placements: Many companies like Radio Mirchi 93.5, Fever 104 FM, Big FM 92.7, etc.,
visited our campus f or internships and placements. Companies had put strenuous criteria
f or us to participate in placement drives. As f ar as I remember and the inf ormation provided
by our alumni, we were able to f ind that around 60% of the students get placements once
they complete their course. Companies pref er to choose students as writers and journalists
who can join them as early in their careers, which can help them later.
Inf rastructure: The inf rastructure of our college is the latest, and there are all the
amenities which students want. The canteen f acility is also amazing, and you will f ind many
students f locked around that area at any time. There is a huge variety of snacks and meals
to choose f rom, and students tend to spend more time in the canteen than required. The
sports area has basketball, lawn tennis, cricket and even martial arts f acilities. The gym is
operational on weekdays, and some hostelers tend to spend much time here. Wi-Fi f acility is
available throughout the college, and the library is huge.

Faculty: All the teachers here are qualif ied and highly knowledgeable. Their teaching quality
is much better than most of the good institutions in the country. The course curriculum is

Placements: Students who scored 70% of marks in their academics got selected in
placements f rom our course f rom Amity University Noida. I don't know the highest and
lowest salary packages of f ered here. Students f ind internships on their own. Our college
does not provide any support during the second year to get internships.
Inf rastructure: Our college has a huge seminar hall where we have discussions and round
meetings, which are really helpf ul f or a course like journalism. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled,
and there is a huge library to get all sorts of books. Medical f acilities are up to the mark, and
our college takes proper precautions to maintain cleanliness. Our college conducts sports

between studies and sports.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpf ul and adequately qualif ied. They provide knowledge using
presentations and online programs f or us to gain the best knowledge possible. They
conduct tests regularly, which help us to rate our perf ormance so that we can know whether

Faculty: Teachers in our courses are well-qualif ied enough to teach this course. They were
helpf ul when it came to assignments and projects. They even took us f or events to get the

I am satisfied with the college because of good faculty members.
Placements: Our college took very less initiative towards placements. No top companies
were invited f or placements. The average salary of f ered was ranging between Rs. 15,000
per month - Rs. 30,000 per month. Most people were taken on probation. Junior journalist,
client servicing, social media editor, etc., were some job roles of f ered.
Inf rastructure: The inf rastructure and f acilities provided were great and up to the mark.
The library and main canteen block were very well-f urnished. The library was one of the best
spaces in the institute. The campus also had an arcade with games like billiards, bowling,
etc.
Faculty: The teaching quality was good. Teachers were quite knowledgeable and helpf ul.
The course curriculum was relevant. But af ter f inishing the course, students do lack
practical knowledge as more f ocus is on theoretical. More on-ground and industry exposure
should be given, which is lacking.

Other: I opted f or this course because it provides good exposure to the media industry.
They should work on electives like events and advertising more in terms of assignments.

Inf rastructure: I was not a hostler but f ew of my f riends were and they enjoyed a lot. Since
the environment is very good, we were day scholars but even though we used to stay at the
H-Block. They only problem they f aced was to get the permission to go out because it
required a lot of process.

Faculty: This is something that Amity live upon. The teachers are very qualif ied and we had
all the things available to boost our craf t, including the best Newsroom room present in any
other college, we had our own Radio Station 107.8 FM They're several clubs as well f or
extra curriculum like Fashion, Music, Dance, Acting clubs.

Other: I was mostly interested in Mass communication subjects like Photography,
Filmmaking, Radio And Amity provided every possible f acility available We had our own
editing Studio, we could get some shooting equipments And the Radio community was also
very encouraging and helpf ul.
