Anaconda Final Phase: Sprint 1 – Functionality Overview
Search
If you are searching for love, purpose, or the meaning of life, we probably can’t help you. But searching for all things work related has
never been quicker or more relevant.
Where in the application
The quick search bar is located on the main navigation menu near the top right.
More on how it works
1. As you begin typing in the quick search bar, we make recommendations based on your viewing history in AtTask.
2. If the item you are looking for is displayed in the type ahead, select it, and you will be taken directly to that object. If not, press enter
and we will perform a comprehensive search. You can then refine your search further by filtering the results.
3. In-line and bulk edit are available actions from the results. Happy searching AtTaskers!
Release Plan
• This will go to Early Access on December 8, 2012.

We are running out of reasons to do any work in the old AtTask. Your favorite resource management tools are now in the new AtTask.
Where in the application
People >> Resource Planning tab
More on how it works
1. Resource Pools, Capacity Planning, and the Resource Budget Manager are only available for Enterprise customers.
2. The Capacity Planner and Resource Estimates are now tabs on Resource Pools.
Completion Index

Multi-Currency Support
Go Global! Now you can run and track international projects in AtTask with multiple currencies.
Where in the application
Setup>> Exchange Rates
5
Anaconda Final Phase: Sprint 1 – Functionality Overview
Project >> Finance tab
More on how it works
Enterprise customers now have the ability to add currencies and exchange rates from the Setup area and use multi-currency functionality.
1. You need to have more than one currency set up in the exchange rates section in order to adjust the currency on your
projects.
2. Any newly created project will default to the “base” currency you defined in Setup.
3. You are not able to change a project’s currency if there is already some financial information on it.
4. Rates are used for labor cost and revenue calculations and will be used in the future for reporting purposes.
5. By default all full license users have access to view currencies and exchange rates. You need to grant the user Edit Exchange
Rates access so she can set specific rates on projects.
6. Setup>>Exchange Rates screen is accessible only for System Administrators and users with access to add, delete, edit, and view
Exchange Rates.
7. On any list, objects that are related to the project will be shown using project currency code. Any other fields that are not
related directly to the project (e.g. User rates, Job role rates, etc.) will be shown in their own currency.
Release Plan
This will go to Early Access on December 8, 2012.

Layout Templates (F.K.A. Portal Profiles)
“New Name, Same Great Taste.” Actually, there are few delicious new features that are sure to tickle your taste buds. Be sure to read
below to get all the details.
Where in the application
Setup>>Interface>>Layout Templates
More on how it works
NOTE: New Layout Templates can be created in new AtTask; however, converting Portal Profiles to new AtTask will be available in a
subsequent release. Don’t worry, any Layout Templates you create and assign will work just fine after the conversion.
Overview
1. Layout Templates give you the ability to create custom tabs (from dashboards & external pages), set up list controls, and assign that
configuration to people, teams, and job roles.
2. If a person is assigned to Layout Template A and is a member of a team that is assigned to Layout Template B, the person will see
the configuration of Layout Template A. Remember: Individuals trump Job Roles and Teams, and Job Roles trump Teams.
3. In Layout Template Settings you are able to set the default login page and global navigation
a) Note: Team Members assigned to a Layout Template where the Reporting area is included will have access to the reporting tab.
But team members will not have access to the Projects area.

4. Customize Tabs: Custom Tabs can be added to Tasks, Projects, Issues, Portfolios, and to the Global Sections Projects, Requests, &
Reporting.
a) Some of the standard tabs can be hidden for people assigned to the Layout Template.
5. Customize Lists: Lists can be configured on a Layout Template. Show/Hide views, filters, and groupings to keep the lists clean and
useful for your people.
6. Assignments: Assigning Layout Templates is better than ever. In addition to assigning Layout Template to individuals, they can be
assigned to Teams and Job Roles (Portal Profiles were usually set up this way anyway). Assignments can be made directly in the
Layout Template builder. In the future you will also be able to assign Layout Templates to people, Teams, and Roles on their
respective detail pages.
a) If a user is already assigned to a Layout Template, he cannot be assigned to another until he is unassigned from his current one.
We make this obvious in the UI.
Release Plan
• This will go to Early Access on December 8, 2012.
Completion Index
More to come. We are working on a simple way to migrate all your old Portal Profiles to Layout Templates. The migration should be
available in Early Access in January and will automatically happen behind the scenes for all customers when Anaconda is complete in the
spring.
