Competition Format
au Speed Stars 2019 is composed by 2 rounds in each category as below.
 a. Qualification
 b. Final

The quota for Final round is between 4 (four) to 16 (sixteen).

invited athletes
Event Organiser invites a total of twelve (12) top athletes (six (6) athletes in each category) except host
country. They are selected by following procedure.

 a) Current defending champion of this competition in each category.
 b) Top three (3) athletes in Speed discipline of World Championships 2018 in each category except criteria a).
 c) Top two (2) athletes of current World Ranking in each category except criteria a) and b)
 d) Four (4) Olympic candidate athletes from Host country in each category

If the invited athlete(s) selected by this procedure cancelled to participate, Event Manager would
select another invited athlete(s) from World Ranking holders.

The invited athletes of criteria a), b) and c) can receive 100,000 JPY as their transportation fee between
Wujiang, China and Tokyo, Japan and can stay at the official hotel (HOTEL FOREST INN SHOWA-
KAN) by free of charge up to 7 nights and 8 days including breakfast.

REGISTRATION
Registration Licenses
Competitors WITHOUT IFSC international license CAN register to this competition. Apply on Online Registration
System by google forms https://forms.gle/BoxJHnvuaCMNYK7o8

REGISTRATION FEE
Registration fee is 10,000 JPY for athletes who are not invited. Invited athletes do NOT pay any registration fee.
Registration fee must be paid in Japanese Yen by cash at the registration desk. Please note that foreign cash and
credit card are not available.

DEADLINE
The deadline for registration is the midnight of 4 MAY 2019 UTC+9.

START LIST
Registered competitors not confirmed as present by 18:00 hrs, 11 May 2019 will be deleted from the
Official Starting List.

In case you are not able to make the registration in time due to flight delays or other unpredictable

 3rd Place        130,000JPY
 4th Place         80,000JPY
 5th Place         50,000JPY

 The prize money will be paid by cash at the official hotel in the evening of 12th May.

     You can take a shuttle bus from Narita airport to Akishima station north exit. From Haneda airport, you
     take a bus bound for Tachikawa station, then you take JR Ome line to Akishima station.
