Province of eastern Indonesia for over 30 years. NTT is
one of the poorest areas in Indonesia and the world and
is located right on Australia’s doorstep. Food
production and access to clean water is hampered by the
7 to 8month dry season each year. There are very high
rates of malnutrition, child mortality, diarrhea and other
illnesses.
NTA is focused on helping those in greatest need and
through strong volunteer support is able to keep its
administration costs to a bare minimum. This means
that most of the funds including the full donation
amounts from AIA are forwarded direct to our activities
in Indonesia.
