Student Bell Schedule
(Daily & Weekly Instructional Guidance Education)

Students: Following daily and weekly schedules will help you keep up with your learning
while you are at home. Your teachers will help you decide how to spend your time. Do not
forget to get some physical activity every day. If you have other children in your
household, you can set a great example by reading with them and helping them with their
school work. Attend your real-time, live classes each day and complete all assignments
and tasks as assigned. Reach out to your teachers when you need help.

Students start the day at 7:00 am as their independent work time from any of their classes
and begin their first live class at 8:00 am each day. Students end the instructional day at
1:16 pm each day as well.

Parents/Guardians: Distance learning will require students to virtually attend real-
time, live classes with teachers daily according to the schedule below. Please become
very familiar with this schedule and provide support, guidance, and assistance to your
child in order to foster a positive work ethic and conducive environment for learning in
the home.

                                                                                              2

Student Bell Schedule

TERMS TO REMEMBER:

Live instruction: Teachers will be live via our learning platform to execute instruction. All
students are required to attend live instruction.

Differentiated Learning and Extended Learning: This time slot is intended for students
to work independently and extend their learning from live instruction. During this time
students will have the opportunity to receive differentiated or additional support to
supplement the live instruction.

Asynchronous Learning/Virtual Hours: During this time students are working offline
independently and all faculty members are available to students for assistance and support.

Advisory Periods: This period is utilized to check-in with all of our students on their
progress from the start of the week and may be utilized to set the stage for the remainder
of the week and leading into the start of the following week. At the start of the year this
time may be spent on orienting our students to the learning management system and
gathering feedback on student needs.

                                                                                              3
