SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE :
The Asia-Pacific Conference on beekeeping for Sustainable Agriculture, Ecosystem services
and Rural Livelihoods is being organized by V Sivaram Research Foundation (VSRF),
Bangalore, India in collaboration with Asian Apicultural Association (AAA) and ICPPR,
Canada with an aims to bring together leading Entomologists, Bee scientists, research
scholars, beekeepers, Policy makers, agriculturists ecologists etc., to exchange and share
their experiences and research findings on all aspects of Beekeeping, crop pollination and
other ecosystem services. The scheduled conference provides an interdisciplinary platform
for researchers, practitioners and educators to present discuss and exchange recent research
and innovations in beekeeping practice and real practical challenges in the beekeeping
industry.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS :
The conference invites together basic and applied research papers on honeybee and related
hymenopteran insects, bee diseases, honey and bee-products, honey trade, beekeeping
equipments and technology, Apitherapy, Honey plants and crop pollination etc. The scope of
the conference encompasses from Apiculture to agriculture, forestry, and food science, medical
and veterinary importance.
All abstracts should be written in English and submitted on or before 10.02.2022 through E mail:

*Note: The abstracts received by hard copies by post will not be considered.
The title of the paper should be 16 pt Times New Roman and the Name and Address must be
cantered with 14 pt Times New Roman. The main text should be single-spaced, in 12 pt Times
New Roman with Keywords at the end. The number of words in the abstract should not exceed 400.
All submissions will be reviewed in terms of quality, impact and relevance to the Conference by
subject experts. The notification will be directed to the corresponding author by 15.02.2022
The paper presented in the Conference after review will be published in the Journal of
Apiculture free of cost

ORAL PRESENTATION
˜ You are requested to provide ppt slides at the registration desk well in advance at the
registration desk.
˜ The maximum speaking time for oral presentation is 15 minutes (including time for
discussion). This time frame will be strictly adhered to by the session Organizer/Chair.
POSTER PRESENTATION
˜ Poster boards are located in Poster display area.
˜ All posters will be displayed during the congress as per the scheduled programme. Mounting
stickers will be available in the poster room or contact the information desk of the conference.
˜ Size of the poster board is 120 cm high and 90 cm wide.
IMPORTANT NOTICE :
˜ Submission of abstract implies the willingness of at least one of the authors of the paper to
register as delegate on or before 25.02.2022.
˜ Papers without, at least, one author registering by the above date the Abstracts will be
automatically excluded from the congress scientific programme and abstract book.
