About us

 Foundation
     Non-profit organisation, founded 1996 in Düsseldorf/Germany
 What we do
     Supporting handicapped children and adults toward participation in dolphin assisted therapy
     So far, more than 4,500 successful therapies have been carried out
 Therapeutic concept
     Developed by the organisation
     Elements: family-centred, interdisciplinary, interactive
     Basis: ethical, species-appropriate living conditions for the dolphins
 Effectiveness
     Medically proven in 2003 in an independent European study
 Significance of the therapy for relatives and caregivers
     Not only does it give them hope that their ill and handicapped patients may be able to lead a
      more independent life, but also
     The certainty that dolphin assisted therapy will for many be the first step ever toward being
      able to receive conventional medical treatments
