Book Drive Participation Form

The purpose of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Statewide Children’s Literacy Drive is to collect new or gently
used children’s books* for distribution to elementary, middle, and high schools, and to after school programs
across the State. This important enrichment program began in 2004 and continues each year, thanks to the
generosity of participating State agencies. The 2021 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Statewide Children’s Book
Drive will run from February 22, 2021 - April 23, 2021.

With many State employees and organizations working remotely, we are excited to offer both physical donation
and online donation options this year. Donations may be made to your service oriented program of choice. All
donations should be tracked and reported to Diane Hems. Please visit empirestateplaza.ny.gov/nyking for a list of
   partner organizations.
