The Weekend of Friday, May 7th, 2021
Be, Belong and Become, Bon Appetit! is a virtual experience offering a unique opportunity to
support our most vulnerable population with sponsorship opportunities for the MacCanon
Brown Homeless Sanctuary (MBHS) community.
On the weekend of Friday, May 7th, 2021, the Be, Belong and Become, Bon Appetit! virtual
culinary experience will bring two seasoned wonderful chefs into your kitchen. This fun and
interactive virtual experience will inspire you to follow step-by-step instructions from our
wonderful chefs, as you prepare — along with them — a HelloFresh signature dish. Within
each kit delivered, you will receive the 2 signature meals, dinner for two people, along with a
surprise meal.
This exclusive virtual event is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and see
how they compare to our Chefs while helping to fund the services and building of the MBHS
kitchen to feed the most impoverished people in Wisconsin.
Sponsored attendees will receive a sanctuary branded dish towel, pre-event access to
ingredients required for the virtual cooking experience and event access to the recorded
instructional video.
Experience an evening of dining while supporting MBHS, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
located at 2461 W. Center Street, 53206, the most impoverished neighborhood in the City of

Meet our 2021 Featured Chefs:
Through the funds raised at our Be, Belong, Become, Bon Appetit!, MBHS will be able to equip
our kitchen to feed the community in the 53206 zip code, a food desert.
Event Weekend Culinary Experience: All sponsored guests will receive a HelloFresh meal kit
containing 3 meals for 2 people shipped to their home the week of the event, including a MBHS
dish towel.
On the weekend of May 7th, you may cook along with your chef of choice, creating a delicious
meal while connecting with the homeless community by making a difference in their lives.
All sponsored guests will receive branded Be, Belong, Become, Bon Appetit! pre-event access
to ingredients required for the meal and access to the recorded instructional video.

Our instructional cooking video will be narrated by our very own local celebrity
Tom Pipines, standing side by side with our Chefs. Tom, a retired sportscaster,
anchor and reporter from WITI-TV Channel 6, is a friend and supporter of MBHS.

The Vision and Mission of the MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary is to offer a
daytime sanctuary and multi-resource center for homeless and at-risk individuals,
with core values that include: Community, Healing, Spirituality, Recovery, Peer
Empowerment, Dignity, Advocacy, Voice, Solidarity and Mutual Transformation.
We are focused on fortifying Milwaukee’s safety net.
