           Teary Eyed Chili
3 Tbsp. Canola oil 			                        1 Lb. beef, cubed
1 Lb. pork cubed * 		                   1 1/2 cups beef stock
1 1/2 onions, chopped 		            1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. celery salt 		                    1 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. chili powder 		             1 tsp chili de arbol powder
2 tsp. cumin 				                              1 tsp. marjoram
1 tsp. sugar 			                         1 Tbsp. Masa harina
1/2 tsp salt
     Brown the meat in a lg. skillet. When done, remove to
a lg. pot with the beef stock. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat
and simmer. Remove grease from skillet and replace with
2 Tbsp. oil. Saute onions until translucent. Add all the other
ingredients except the Masa harina and salt to the onions.
Remove coated onions to the pot. Simmer the chili for 1
hour to allow to thicken.
     In a small bowl, mix the Masa harina with 1 tbsp. wa-
ter to form a paste. Add this to pot and stir well. Taste and
adjust seasonings. (*Cannola note: use Italian hot sausage
for pork cubes. Beautiful).

     voluntary program and certain restrictions
     as to who can obtain a lock box under this
     program may apply. Police are planning on
     issuing the lock boxes on a case-by-case
     basis, measuring factors such as living ar-
     rangements, age, physical conditions and
     medical status.
