Like to be in total charge of each shift? Choose Veloster’s 6-speed manual transmission. Prefer
to engage selectively? Hyundai’s 6-speed SHIFTRONIC® automatic transmission with manual
controls lets you decide when to take a hands-on approach. There’s also a 7-speed Dual Clutch
Transmission that moves you briskly through the gears. A feature called Drive Mode Select lets
you tune the shift points, throttle response and steering feel to one of three modes – Normal,

In creating the new Veloster, designers from Hyundai studios around the world were given a
challenge: Reimagine the driver’s car. Which explains why, when you sit in the driver’s seat of the
2019 Veloster, you sense the interior was designed with you at the center of it all.
Each trim level is designed with unique colors, materials and accents. An asymmetrical dashboard
layout and connectivity technologies like Apple CarPlay,™ Android Auto™ and Bluetooth® cater to
your sense of command and control.1 The seat you’ve settled into is instantly comfortable with the
firm support you’ll need to keep you planted when the road twists and turns. And like a jet pilot,
you can project information such as turn-by-turn navigation onto the available Heads-up Display
transparent pop-up screen in front of you.2
Opening the hidden third door makes it easy for rear-seat passengers to enjoy Veloster almost
as much as you do. And there’s space in back to bring everyone’s gear along. With the rear seats
up, the new Veloster has more cargo room than the Honda Civic Coupe, MINI Cooper 2-door and
4-door, Fiat 500 and VW Beetle.3 When you need to transport larger objects, Veloster’s 60/40 split
rear seats fold down for 44.5 cubic feet of storage – and its hatch opens wide for easy loading.
