ACCOMMODATION BENEFITS
Chapter 1–AVAILABLE ROOMS AND PROVIDED SERVICES

COLLEGIO UNIVERSITARIO DI TORINO RENATO EINAUDI (henceforth ‘Collegio’), foundation ex art. 14 ss. c.c.
registered to the Register of Legal Persons at the Prefecture of Torino and private-law entity with no profit-
making purposes, as well as merit-based University College legally recognized and accredited by Ministero
dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca1 (MIUR) in accordance with DD.MM. nn. 672 e 673 dated 2016,
announces a competition for the academic year 2019/2020 for:

- for the whole academic year 2018/19 or part of it

     - 6 places in double suite (Valentino Residence Hall)
     - 2 places in double suite (Mole Antonelliana Residence Hall)
     - 4 places in double room (Valentino Residence Hall)

- for the 1st semester (from 1st September to 31st January 2019)

     -   7 single rooms (San Paolo Residence Hall)
     -   2 single rooms (Crocetta Residence Hall)
     -   2 single rooms (Po Residence Hall)
     -   2 single rooms (Mole Antonelliana Residence Hall)

This call is reserved to foreign students who are taking part to mobility programs at:
- Università degli Studi di Torino;
- Politecnico di Torino;
- Istituto Europeo di Design;
- Istituto d'Arte Applicata e Design;
- other higher education institutions headquartered in Turin.
The services offered are described in the guidelines published on the website of Collegio Einaudi, which
reports further information on the residence halls.

APPLICATION
Chapter 2 - HOW TO APPLY AND DOCUMENTATION TO BE SENT
The application form must be filled in by using the following form published on the section “International
students” on the official website

The application may be filled in within two different cohorts, as follows:

Students applying for this call have to:
1)   fill in the personal and academic data section;
2)   upload a pdf document with the Identity Card or Passport scan;
3)   upload a self-declaration of participation to the mobility program during the academic year 2019/20,
     stating:
             a. type and title of the program (e.g. Erasmus+, double-degree program, internship, etc.)
             b. period and duration of the program

c. name of the receiving institution
The applications not complying with the above-mentioned conditions will not be taken into account.

ACCOMMODATION BENEFIT AWARD
Chapter 3 –AWARD CRITERIA
Given the merit criteria resulting in the selection procedures established by sending and receiving institutions
for the admission of the candidates to mobility programs, the accommodation awards will be assigned in
order of the applications receipt.
Awards will be assigned in the 2nd cohort only if some of them have not been assigned in the 1st one, due to
absence of suitable candidates; they will be assigned along with the reception of applications, at most by
April 15th, 2020.

Chapter 4 - ACCEPTANCE OF THE ACCOMMODATION BENEFIT AND REQUESTED
DOCUMENTS
In order to accept the accommodation benefit, admitted students must pay the 1st instalment of the fee plus
the deposit and send the receipts of the payments via e-mail (to concorsi@collegioeinaudi.it), as described
in chapter 5 of this call. If students do not pay the 1st instalment and the deposit within the set deadlines,
they will be automatically considered as withdrawals.

Chapter 5 -FEES AND TERMS OF PAYMENT
Each room has a different cost, as follows:
   - single room (with private or shared bathroom): € 405 per month
   - double room with private bathroom: € 255 per month per person
   - double suite with private kitchen and bathroom: € 320 per month per person

The whole cost of the reservation will be divided in different instalments, according to the duration of the
stay at Collegio Einaudi.

Arrears for late payment
Non-payment on time of the 1st instalment will result in rejecting the award. In case of late payment of the
required instalments (or of a share part of them), arrears will be applied as follows:

The amounts received as arrears during the academic year 2018/19 will be used to finance scholarships
and/or educational activities for students of Collegio Einaudi during the year 2019.

Refunds
No refund of fees, whether partial or total, will be due in case of routine or unscheduled maintenance in
the residence halls.
Students wishing to leave Collegio Einaudi before the end of the period they have previously reserved have
to notify the Administration at least two months in advance; if not, they will lose their deposit. The deposit
and fee refund2 (if applicable) is due within the end of the month following the refund application. In case
of international bank transfers of the refund, the student will be charged with additional fees (applied by
the respective banks).

Chapter 6 – HOUSING AGREEMENT
The legal relationship between Collegio Einaudi and the students is regulated by a Housing Agreement,
according to the Italian law (D.L. 68/2012, art. 12 co. 5).
Each student must sign the Housing Agreement upon the awarding of the benefit; a signed copy of the
contract must be sent with the modalities communicated at a later stage.

Chapter 7 – PERSONAL FORMATIVE PROGRAM AND “DIPLOMA DI COLLEGIO”3
Each student of Collegio Einaudi must sign a Personal Formative Program (henceforth “PFP”), along with the
Housing Agreement, for each year spent in Collegio Einaudi, as required by the Italian law (D.M. 673/2016).
The PFP aims to offer integrative, transversal and interdisciplinary education, aiming to train responsible
adults, having particular attention to the common good.
Each Student can choose his own path within the Annual Formative Plan (PFA) prepared by Collegio. As per
the above mentioned Ministerial Decrees, the minimum hours of training provided for each student are as
follows: if a student is attending the 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of university studies, he/she will have to attend 70
hours of formative activities, while if a student is attending the 4th or higher academic years, he/she will
have to attend 25 hours of them. A personal mentor may also be chosen.
If students do not complete their PFP and do not fill the final Assessment Questionnaire, they will not be able
to apply for the Call for confirmation of the next academic year: the confirmation of the accommodation is
strictly related to the realisation of the PFP.
