April 2021-
Happy Easter!
From the Desk of the Executive Director...Greetings!
April 2nd ends the Lenten period with Good Friday. Of
course this Sunday April 4th is Easter Sunday, the
most important Holy Day of the Catholic Faith.
Throughout our cemeteries we see the holy reminders
of this day with Palm Crosses on graves and flower
displays. It is truly a great day to visit loved ones in
the cemeteries. What greater hope do we have than
the Resurrection of Lord leading to our own
resurrection and those of our families.
In recognizing the need to take care of those in need
we are beginning the Bereavement Ministry geared
towards community and faith as a foundation to assist
those needing help during this time of great loss. Three
sessions will be offered.
As the weather continues to improve you will notice more and more flush
markers being raised and trees being trimmed. Your CCA is continuously
working to keep our cemeteries looking beautiful. We invite everyone to help
us. All pets are welcome with their responsible owners who pick up after them
and remove the droppings from the cemetery property. Our refuse containers
are for the families visiting and the refuse from decorating or cleaning their
loved ones areas. Thank you for your support.
As you visit your loved ones this holy season, may you find peace and solitude
as you pray and reflect on our sacred grounds. Happy Easter!
Peace,
John Pinone
