April 16th - 18th 2021
Camp Binachi2021 Spring Camporee
To: All Scout Leaders
From: Camporee Committee
Subject: 2021 Council Spring Camporee
Date: April 16th, 17th, & 18th, 2021
Theme: “Think Outside, No Box Required”
We’re pleased to announce that w e w i l l b e h o s t i n g o u r a n n u a l
Spring Camporee this year at Camp Binachi. This year’s events will again focus
on basic Scout skills tied to rank advancement for those that need it and reinforce
the same for the old salts in your troop. Advancement requirements met during
the course of the camp are detailed throughout this document for your planning
purposes; they are not all-inclusive. Your Scouts should spend some time during
the next few weeks preparing for the events detailed in this guide. It is expected
that your senior scouts will prepare your junior scouts using the EDGE method to
complete these events and your senior scouts are requested to run these events
at camporee under adult supervision. While competition is inherent among the
troops in the council, it is imperative that your patrols complete each event with
the senior scouts mentoring the junior scouts.
Points will be deducted for patrols that consistently have only senior scouts
competing in each event.
Please refer to the enclosed map for directions. The camporee fee this year is a
$15.00 per person. We look forward to seeing you2021 Spring Camporee
