BASIC MILESTONES IN THE GROWTH OF MICROSISTEMI
ANDREA ARDITI had started his experience of global
support for Engineering and Technology.
1980 MICROSISTEMI Srl was founded from an idea of ANDREA
ARDITI and was largely based on his own experience
gained in the railway field in Italy and abroad.
1998
MICROSISTEMI Srl has a new Ownership.
Andrea Arditi is still present as key reference for
Engineering, Technology and Market.
The new Ownership is represented by PAOLO POLI who
2017 gained nearly three decades of experience in the railway
industry sector and is coming from a long entrepreneurial
tradition in his historic family company (POLI Costruzione
Materiali Trazione SpA), now Wabtec.
PAOLO POLI is now conveying into Microsistemi Srl his
own experience, as well as the knowledge of different
products and other areas of the Rail Industry Market.

One Electronic Control Unit (ECU) per bogie is
managing for all the four sanding device:
▪ functional parameters when sanding command is
activated including adjustable sanding flow
▪ diagnositc signals

SANDING DEVICE – LIGHT version
▪ No ECU to manage functional parameters and
diagnostics signals that are driven directly by
vehicle logic.
▪ Sand flow is fixed and constant during application,
but it can be regulated during vehicle set-up.
