TACKLE
Guests are to bring their own personal fishing equipment, including rods and reels. A basic range of rods and reels for heavy GT lure casting, light
lure casting and jigging are available, if required. Guests are required to bring specialised tackle including poppers, soft plastics, jigs and additional
terminal tackle. Special lures and Jig packs can be organised prior to the trip if you wish. Heavy tackle trolling rods and trolling lures are included. If
guests wish to fly fish, own tackle, flies and rods must be provided.
DESTINATIONS
We travel to the isolated reef systems of the Coral Sea, which have received little or no fishing pressure. These reefs often have small to large
sand/coral cays surrounded by crystal clear fringing reefs which then plummet vertically straight down to over 1000 metres providing a haven for
the tropical species in which we target.

GETTING Charters depart from Airlie Beach, the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, in Queensland, Australia. There are
HERE daily flights to either the Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine) or Hamilton Island (Great Barrier Reef Airport). If
you’re arriving by plane, the charters are structured in a way that additional accommodation is typically
not required and you should be able to travel directly from the airport to the charter, and vice versa.
There are many companies which provide travel to the marina from the Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine) & Hamilton Island
Airports. We recommend “Heart of the Reef Shuttles” if you fly into the Whitsunday Coast Airport and Cruise Whitsundays Ferry
service if you intend on flying into Hamilton Island.
For our international guests, connect to the Whitsundays via flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Cairns. We are more
than happy to assist with organizing transfers and any other logistics for your trip.

Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another suitable date provided that minimum 6 months’ notice is
provided. Guests are required to have travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances due to inclement weather. In the
event that a charter is unable to proceed due to inclement weather, alternative dates will be arranged.
