NOTES ON TERMS AND CHARTERS

IMPORTANT NOTES ON CHARTERS

- Chartering a vessel involves a serious financial commitment for which The Charterer assumes all responsibility and risk and is
in no reason or circumstance exempt from the Tour Company’s charter cancellation policies

- Moving a confirmed charter to a future date is considered a charter cancellation if the cancellation is made within the dates
stipulated on the Charter Cancellation policy

- If booking was confirmed more than one year before sailing and said booking is cancelled 320 or more days before departure,
25% of the initial deposit can be used as a partial deposit for a future sailing

- The Tour Company strongly urges The Client to recommend The Passenger to purchase a good travel insurance policy that
includes trip cancellation, interruption coverage and baggage loss protection

NOTES ON LAND BOOKINGS AND FUEL

- The price of land based tours is based on single, double or triple occupancy, as requested by client. Single supplements will be
applied according to the policies of the hotels and providers of the services used

- Current/additional taxes and surcharges not explicitly mentioned on this document may also change/apply depending on the
rules, regulations, legislation and discretion of the Galapagos National Park and the local government. – These may especially
apply if local authorities raise the price of fuel in the Galapagos which as of April 1st, 2013 is set at $3.250062 USD / Gallon.

  FUEL & ADDITIONAL SURCHARGES

 - Above rates include Fuel Surcharge and airport taxes.
 - Local government may increase surcharge with little or no prior notice. Quasar Expeditions is not responsible for coverage
 of said possible increase.
 - Galapagos Park Fee ($100 USD) and Ingala Transit Card ($20 USD) are not included and must be paid separately.

  RATES FOR RESIDENTS OF ECUADOR AND PACTO ANDINO COUNTRIES

 - All residents of Ecuador and of countries that are members of Pacto Andino pay lower rates from those published above.
 Please inquire with us for these rates.

  CHANGES IN FLIGHT ROUTES AND CANCELLATIONS

 - Quasar Expeditions charges a $50 per passenger processing fee for changes in flight routes or dates.
 - In addition to the processing fee, for changes in flight routes there will be price adjustments. If the rate of the new route is higher,
 we will charge the difference in price accordingly. If the rate of the new route is lower, the difference in price will be adjusted on
 the invoice before final payment is received.
 - No refunds or price adjustments on flight route changes or flight cancellations will be made after final payment is received.

  * NOTE ON CHILDREN

 - 11 years old and under are considered children by local airlines.
 - If you request Business Class travel to/from the Galapagos Islands for a child please note that the airline will apply regular adult
 Business Class pricing and we cannot obtain the usual child discount for the flight.
