     Making History in the Marshall Islands

     The first cohort of the college’s PACMED
     program graduated in the Republic of the
     Marshall Islands (RMI) on July 26, 2019.
     PACMED is a Master of Education (MEd)
     degree program in the Department of Cur-
     riculum Studies (EDCS) with a focus on
     culturally-responsive, Pacific, place-based
     STEAM subjects (science, technology, engi-
     neering, arts, and mathematics). EDCS Pro-
