Welcome to Greece!
Welcome to Greece! After airport formalities, enjoy a private transfer to your Athens, city-center, hotel. After settling
in, join your Exploring Europe guide for an informative and scenic walk through the Plaka neighborhood and the
sacred Acropolis hill slopes. Later, we will meet for a group dinner near our hotel. Sleep 3 nights in Athens. Dinner.
Overnight: Herodion Hotel
Situated at the foot of the Acropolis, Herodion Hotel offers elegantly decorated air-conditioned rooms. It has a beautiful
roof garden with sun loungers and 2 hot tubs boasting spectacular views over Athens.
The modern rooms feature light wood furnishings and parquet floors. They are fitted with a satellite TV, safety box and
soundproofed windows. Most of the rooms have private balconies and some have a view of the Acropolis.
Offering direct views of the Acropolis, the rooftop PointA restaurant is fitted with a decked terrace, serving Mediterranean

09:00 Private Mythology tour of Acropolis & Acropolis Museum with skip the line access
Enjoy a guided tour at the Acropolis and, later, walk through the new Acropolis Museum (if open). You'll have the
remainder of the afternoon and evening to explore the Agora, Forum, and medieval streets of the Plaka on your own.
Later, we will meet for dinner at a local restaurant. Dinner.

Agrosaronic Gulf Cruise – Travel to the port of Athens for a full-day cruise of the Agrosaronic Gulf. You'll have an
opportunity to enjoy shopping, dining, and swimming on the traffic-free island of Hydra. Later, return to Athens for
dinner. Dinner.
Aristocratic, cosmopolitan, with a rich history and great naval tradition, Hydra is one of the most famous and popular
islands of the Saronic Gulf. Built amphitheatrically on two rocky hills around the port, the city of Hydra is considered a

Despite its relatively small size, Hydra doesn’t lack in things to see and visit. With a number of fascinating sights and

08:30 - After breakfast, we will load our private coach and head west. Enjoy a look at the Corinth Canal, constructed in
1893 to connect the Gulf of Corinth with the Aegean Sea. Next, enjoy a guided tour of Corinth's historical old city and
have some free time for lunch. Later, we will arrive in Nafplio, where, after an orientation walk, you'll have the afternoon
and evening to explore this pedestrian-friendly town and have a group dinner. Sleep 2 nights in Nafplio. Dinner.

Spend your day relaxing at the beach or catching some exercise—and even more views—from one of Santorini’s more
than 12 scenic walking routes, ranging from between two to eight miles each. At dinner, make sure to sample the island's
signature cherry tomatoes and white eggplants as guest stars in seafood dishes or the main event.
You can circle the caldera from Fira to Oia, taking in the picture-perfect surroundings. The full hike takes roughly five
hours, but can be broken up with stops in the towns or tavernas along the way.
Start early if you'd like the trail to yourself or go out in the late afternoon to arrive in Oia just in time for the sunset views the
town is known for, but try to avoid the heat of the midday sun. Stroll through Oia's alleyways and art galleries once you
arrive, or head down into Amoudi Harbor if you want seafood on the shore.
