                                      ICT Based Activities

        Department of Mechanical Engineering is continuously focusing on the requirements of
student community and ICT (Information Communication Technology) based methods are
practiced to enhance Teaching-Learning process effectiveness.

        Information and Communication Technology can improve teaching learning process and
create flipped class room environment for learning. Through ICT, videos, images, files and other
resources can easily be used in teaching to improve the retentive memory of students. Through ICT,
teachers can easily explain complex concepts easily. Through ICT, teachers can create interactive
flipped classes and make the learning environment more alive, which could improve student’s
understanding level.

Microsoft Teams
                                               Microsoft Teams is a unified communication and
                                               collaboration platform that combines persistent
                                               workplace chat, video meetings, file storage
                                               (including collaboration on files), and application
                                               integration. The service integrates with the Office
                                               365 subscription office productivity suite and
                                               features extensions that can integrate with non-
                                               Microsoft products.

               Edmodo is an educational technology company offering a
               communication, collaboration, and coaching platform to K-12
               schools and teachers. The Edmodo network enables teachers to share
               content, distribute quizzes, assignments, and manage communication
               with students, colleagues, and parents. Edmodo is very teacher-
               centric in their design and philosophy: students and parents can only
               join Edmodo if invited to do so by a teacher. Teachers and students
               spend large amounts of time on the platform, both in and out of the
               classroom.

Kahoot!
          Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform, used as
          educational technology in schools and other educational
          institutions.

           Kahoot is a tool which facilitates learning through
          games,”Kahoots”, is user-generated multiple-choice
          quizzes that can be accessed via a web browser or the
          Kahoot app. It can also be used to review students'
          knowledge, for formative assessment, or as a break from
          traditional classroom activities. Kahoot! Also includes
          trivia quizzes.

Google forms
                                   Google    Forms     is   a    survey
                           administration app that is included in the
                           Google Drive office suite along with Google
                           Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
                           Forms features all of the collaboration and
                           sharing features found in Docs, Sheets, and
                           Slides.

                           It is used to create quizzes, to take feedback or
                           to conduct surveys. One can test students
                           learning level periodically in very less time
                           using this flatform.

       platform. Online classes can be conducted to
       students using this platform.
