Edge- The University of Delaware's summer college program The Edge summer college program is a five-week, credit-bearing college experience held July 11 – Aug. 14, 2021. Edge is designed for high school students moving into their junior and senior years. Students in Edge will have the opportunity to attend college courses taught by University of Delaware faculty, participate in on- and off-campus curricular and co-curricular activities, and live in a UD residence hall. NovaEdge Diversity in Engineering – Virtual Summer Program which is a five-day program that
introduces a diverse population of students from different ethnic and social backgrounds to the
traditional fields of engineering, including Chemical, Civil and Environmental, Computer and Electrical,
and Mechanical Engineering. Students also will be introduced to unique aspects of Villanova’s College of
Engineering, which include Sustainable Engineering and Engineering Entrepreneurship. Lectures and
hands-on laboratory will involve at home experiments which are taught by Villanova engineering faculty,
and daily guest speakers who will provide academic and industry instruction.
In addition to this introduction to engineering, the NovaEdge virtual summer program includes a

● Participants will attend virtual classes online during this summer program.
● The program is open to rising sophomore, junior and senior high school students.
● The program cost of $300 must paid in full when the student is selected into the program weekly

summer program that is free of cost and geared toward
rising juniors and rising seniors.
Black College Institute (for rising seniors) will offer four-day sessions twice during the
summer of 2021: June 13-June 16 and June 20-June 23.

2021: June 27-June 30.The Health and Biomedical Sciences Summer Program will be held via Zoom from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m. ET each day and costs $175. We are happy to welcome rising High School freshmen-seniors. The goal of the Health and Biomedical Sciences Summer Program is to provide a window into the scientific basis of human health. Our online Health and Biomedical Sciences Summer program will include live lectures from LVC faculty, visiting guest speakers, online laboratory exercises and other interactive activities. While we cannot duplicate the in-person experience of our traditional summer camp, our faculty are committed to providing students with an engaging and valuable experience!
