The EMS eBooks Package | €5,790 (€900 renewal) The entire EMS Press eBooks portfolio of more than 200 titles from 2004 onwards plus forthcoming 2021 titles is available to purchase with more than 50% discount on the total list price, at just €5,790 for first time subscribers. For those renewing in 2021 the price is €900. This includes DRM-free access to over 85,000 pages of high quality research, all fully downloadable as PDF files. We offer a number of library-friendly features including easily available metadata (XML, MARC and ONIX), perpetual access and no annual maintenance fees. All of our content is archived in CLOCKSS, and subscriptions are valid on a campus-wide basis with no restrictions on simultaneous downloads. Print copies are available to eBook Package subscribers at discounted rates too; €3,900 for all books published 2004 to 2020, or just €500 for titles published in 2021, delivered at the point of publication. at EMS Press
Subscribe To Open (S2O) is the new open access (OA) business model of EMS Press.
S2O retains the familiar subscription framework; libraries subscribe to journals as they would
usually and when a revenue target is achieved, the journal becomes open access for the
subscription year. Where a researcher is required to published OA due to funding stipulations, we
will publish as Green OA regardless of the journal’s target or status.
We have 10 journals operating on this model for 2021 (see price list), and aim to have our
complete portfolio as S2O within the next few years.
Why should I support S2O?
S2O is a model of open access that depends on community support, and supports the entire
community in return. It is a symbiotic system in which the only way to guarantee access to our
journals is by continuing to subscribe, and this is also the only sustainable way to support full and
inclusive OA for our journals.
We believe that this model is the fairest for our community ensuring that the best research from
all over the world can be published with us, without the barriers of complicated fee waiver
systems, or expensive and complex read-and-publish deals.
All subscriptions continue to provide access to archive content of subscribed titles in perpetuity
and ensure that our primary focus is always on publishing mathematical research of the highest

standard.
