1. General information: BTCetc — Bitcoin Exchange Traded
Crypto
BTCetc – Bitcoin Exchange Traded Crypto (primary ticker: BTCE) allows investors to
get exposure to the price of Bitcoin, through an instrument traded on the orderbook of
stock exchanges. Further information on BTCE can be found at www.btc-etc.com.

2. Redemption of BTCetc with ITI Capital
In its role as Authorised Participant, ITI Capital has been appointed by the Issuer of
BTCetc, ETC Issuance GmbH, to offer Redemption Services to Investors and deliver
Bitcoin to BTCE holders wishing to redeem their units of BTCE in exchange for the
underlying Bitcoin.
3. How to Redeem — The Process
1. Onboard as a client of ITI Capital at no charge by contacting digital@iticapital.com
where the Onboarding team will initiate this process, which usually takes between 3-5
business days to complete.
2. Upon account opening you will be presented with your Client Account, as well as
details of where you can deposit your securities for custody by ITI Capital.
3. Once the securities have been received in your account you will be able to see these
on your client brokerage statement distributed daily.
4. To redeem your BTCE for BTC (Bitcoin), simply email digital@iticapital.com from your
registered email address, stating your account number and Number of Units you wish

(12:00) London time.
5. Once the redemption process is complete, your client report will show the amount of
BTC on your account, which is kept safely in cold storage via ITI Capital.*

* Important Note: Should you wish to receive the Bitcoin into your own personal
wallet and not to remain in the custody of ITI Capital, this may take a further 24 hrs to
process

5.1 CHECKLIST FOR INDIVIDUAL CLIENTS
UK/EU and Equivalent Jurisdictions (Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, New
Zealand, Singapore, USA):
1. Application Form – dated and signed
2. FATCA W-8BEN Form – dated and signed
3. CRS Self Certification Form - dated and signed
4. Scanned * passport copy (for UK/EU - valid passport / driving license)
5. Scanned copy of proof of address (utility bill / bank statement) ** within 3 months
6. Please specify your Source of Wealth and Funds as per the guidance attached
* A photograph of the document will be accepted subject to a clear quality checks
** Mobile phone bills will not be accepted
OUTSIDE OF UK/EU JURISDICTION:
All document should be duly certified or notarized
1. Application Form – dated and signed
2. FATCA W-8BEN Form – dated and signed
3. CRS Self Certification Form - dated and signed
4. Apostilled and notarised copy of a valid passport
5. Scanned copy of proof of address (utility bill / bank statement) * within 3 months
6. Evidence of both Source of Wealth and Source of Funds as per the guidance
attached

1. Elective Professional Form – dated and signed
2. Evidence of satisfying two of the Professional Status criteria’s (Brokerage statement
showing transactions and /or portfolio size, CV showing financial experience)
