SSE WOMEN’S FA CUP
Since 2015 we have worked with SSE and the FA to provide

content support and syndication for the energy company’s

award-winning sponsorship of the Women’s FA Cup, with

the final staged for the first time at Wembley.

We delivered a complete content strategy - working with in-

house communications and external PR agencies - that

raised the profile of the competition to new levels.

It was a multi-channel approach involving player

appearances, community initiatives, match day coverage

and partnership of all editorial syndicated from the England

national team.

It utilised the full services of our content creatives from

journalists to videographers to graphic designers and social

media producers and delivered over two million pounds of

media value in 2018.

SSE WOMEN’S FA CUP
“Sportsbeat was at the heart of
our content strategy and
delivered amazing coverage
across print, digital, broadcast
and social. Their established
contacts in the sport helped us
gain immediate traction as a
sponsor, meaning we could hit
the ground running. They
delivered an impressive return on
investment and were a core part
of our comms planning.”

PREMIERSHIP RUGBY
Sportsbeat has worked with Premiership

Rugby for five seasons as their retained

digital content agency, providing a full

range of multimedia editorial services for

their channels.

In addition to extensive match day

coverage, we provide support to the

league’s partners to assist with activating

their sponsorships.

And we offer content generation for Hitz,

the league’s award-winning education and

employability programme, which works

with over 2,000 14-18 year-olds across

England every year.
PREMIERSHIP RUGBY

The social media match graphics suite for

the 2018/19 season was created over a

four month period. Brand guidelines were

based around the sponsor Gallagher’s

colour scheme and an emphasis was

placed on match information.

Balancing a wealth of information with

strong imagery was challenging.

However, the end result was a success -

with record levels of engagement among

a rapidly growing social media following.
