This is our history
The Whiskey Rebellion Festival celebrates the heritage
and unique character of the region by focusing on the
significance of the Whiskey Rebellion, which was the
first challenge of the authority on the newly created
federal government.
The festival honors that critical moment in America’s county and region. Community-focused entertainment
infancy through historic reenactments, period exhibitions combines with nationally renowned artists to create a

What the Rebellion was all about
Nearly 20 years after the revolutionary War began, In July of 1794, a force of 400 disaffected whiskey rebels,

Eventually, Bradford received a pardon for his role in the
Whiskey Rebellion.

Rockabilly, and Swing music to create their own
brand of high energy, Appalachian Bluegrass. Gary
Antol (guitar/vocals) and Libby Eddy (fiddle/
vocals) founded the band in 2014 with a very
simple goal: write good songs, honor the music,
and take it to the road. In the time since, Jakob’s
Ferry Stragglers has performed in clubs across the
country and appeared at festivals including Delfest,
Grey Fox, Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival, and

Robin and Bob are a Washington County based
musical duo that was formed in early 2017. Bob
Giacometti has been playing guitar for over 30 years
and Robin Matthews has been singing in some
capacity since she was a young girl. Their sound is an
eclectic, genre-defying mix of blues, rock, folk & old-
timey country. The duo has opened for The Danielle
Nicole Band, Albert Cummings, Davina and the
Vagabonds, and Tas Cru. They perform throughout
the tri-state area. Their CD, “Leave On” was released
