Due to the success of some of the innovations we introduced to the 40th Field Days, we have decided to
continue with the following:
• Exhibitor free drinks and get together on Friday will continue for 2 hours. This is a great time for all
exhibitors to come together and meet the field day committee and the members of the Lucindale Lions
club who run the Field Days.
• We let kids in for free on both Friday and Saturday last year for the first time ever, and we will
be continuing to allow free entry for kids on both days again this year. Our aim is to increase
patron numbers on both days, giving exhibitors a greater chance of making more sales.
• We will continue to keep our entertainment budget at a high level, and our Entertainment co-
ordinator has several exiting prospects in the pipeline already. Keep an eye on our website www.
southeastfielddays.com.au for updates.
• For exhibitors setting up their sites, last year we used telehandlers instead of forklifts for the first time.
This proved very successful and we have already hired 2 telehandlers for the 2019 Field Days.
As usual, we provide the following free services.
• Free use of crane for setting up.
• Free courier service. Apply at the office for details.
• Free rubbish removal. We are conscious of the damage that plastics are doing to the environment and
ask that each exhibitor tries to minimise their use of plastics if possible.
• Free drinking water for patrons and exhibitors.
• Free site minding service by Lions members for single exhibitors, for when nature calls.
• Free exhibitor car parks.
• Free bore water delivery to your site, if required.
• Free distribution of our 68-page full colour magazine quality programme prior to the Field Days. Make
sure you have an advert in this programme, the only official programme, which has a print run
of 20000. Various size adverts, in both colour and black and white, are available to suit every
budget.
As usual, an early bird discount applies to all exhibitor applications received before
3rd December 2018.
Book your site early to receive your preferred location.
Our bookings operate on a “first come, first served” basis. (Sites are reserved for sponsors)
The Field Days site is covered by beautiful green grass carefully manicured by Lions club members.
Come and join us and be a part of the family friendly South East Field Days.
South East Field Days A project of the Lucindale Lions Club 1Chairman’s Welcome
Welcome to the Lucindale Lions Club’s South East Field Days.
It’s that time of year again that all the work and organizing since last
year's field days has come to fruition. We look forward to attendees
enjoying our 41st field days.
With a great abundance of varied exhibitors, we hope that the work that
our hard working committee has managed to find enough items of interest
to draw a large crowd and keep everyone happy. We have strived over
the years to keep the program varied and entertaining. This year we are
revisiting the gadget competition for those tinkerers that have come up
with a solution. The kindergarten activity tent & the Lions Cancer Screening
Bus and the Wimmera Hearing Society bus will be present. The usual
eating areas strategically placed around the site to tempt the palate are
still in attendance. The yard dogs still prove to be popular with the puppy
pound & the ongoing upgrading being done. Regular attractions which
include the Can Am addicted to Mud team, Putt Putt golf & Laser tag are
amongst our entertainment, also a couple of new and exciting crowd
pleasers at the Field days.
Trevor Martin, The Members and Partners do an exceptional amount of work during the
South East Field Days year and at the field days, all for a good cause, with various charities
Chairman benefitting each year. Also, clubs etc, benefit from the renumeration they
receive for rostered work done. This year more trees have been planted
for the patron’s benefit plus a bit extra green grass (for which we are
renowned).
Thank you to the Exhibitors who will travel to Lucindale, we hope you all
have a successful field days and a safe trip home
